      Waterfall Revisited...
Waterfall Revisited..., originally uploaded by RMStringer. I went back and wanted to do the "waterfall" thing again after knowing a little bit more about my camera. I used the same waterfall that i located in the fron of my neighborhood. I shot the photo in Shutter Priority this time. The results were amazing. I achieved the desired effect that is wanted when shooting waterfalls. The water is slowed down and it gives a milky look with the surrounding area in sharp focus. It had just finished raining and was overcast with some breaks in the clouds.Exposure: 0.25 sec (1/4)Aperture: f/36Focal Length: 50 mmISO Speed: 400Subscribe to my Posts... Blogroll Me!

      INTO THE WATERFALL
The Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen are the largest Falls in Europe. With an average flow of 700 m3/sec the water cascades down the cataracts, which are 150 m wide and 23 m high. Here is a daring thrill, made with greater confidence. The savage violence of millions of litres of water, a few metres away, becomes a gentle touch of steam.IN SILENZIO VIAGGIANDO UN BLOG PER ASCOLTARE, VEDERE E CAMMINARE IN SILENZIO

Recently, a local environmental group has been working hard to ensure that Huay Kaew Waterfall (ChiangMaiCitylife)remains as natural as possible. Waterfall Volcano Hot Spring River Steam Geyser Place
Dumaguete City Philippines.I hardly know how to describe this interesting place we visited on our very first afternoon in the Philippines, so I am borrowing inspiration from one of our team members, Kev. He described it thus in his blog "We went to a waterfall / volcano / hot spring / river / steam geyser place on the first day."Okaaaay, that fitted the bill somewhat.©@tF2008.5 All rights reserved. The "waterfall / volcano / hot spring / river / steam geyser place" was only about half an hour from Dumaguete City. We were looking for suitable camp sites to start one of our own, and of course we found it on another island, Panay, towards the end of our trip. It had been drizzling that day, but the rain stopped whenever we needed to leave the car for a walk around. The afternoon was very cool

renowned for its splendid views, temples, waterfalls, and hot springs, Nikko also has a majestic lake surrounded by what appear to be dormant volcanic mountains. in fall, though the hillsides do not burn with the flame of maple leaves as in other parts of the country, there is a comfortable mix of reds, oranges and yellows that definitely gives that autumn aura. also well-worth the journey here is the cascading waterfalls a five-minute walk downriver from the southern tip of the lake. the whole experience is so overwhelmingly popular that the otherwise 1-hour journey takes anywhere from two to three hours during peak season.

      Waterfall or rushing river
Time to set goals for the new year coming soon.  This makes me think of a canoe trip I took many years ago with my husband up in Concord, NH.  I was facing backwards and didn't seen a tree down and rapids so I didn't know what was coming and we hit rapids.  The canoe tipped over and I was pinned under it.  This makes me think of how I can't look at past experiences and accomplishments or rest on my laurels so to speak.  It is a time to look forward to what can be accomplished with anticipation.  There are past weight loss goals met but time for new ones for sure.  There are properties sold but time to sell new properties.  There are lots of things I have done and some I haven't.  Time for new things to stretch for.  I have to press forward but oh how I fall back.So here are my affirmations:I am looking forward not backward.  I am striving for more things.  I know I am doing more -- More to help o

      Rainforest Waterfall Peek-A-Boo Soother
Our baby loves the Rainforest Waterfall Peek-A-Boo Soother! We turn this on for him everytime he goes down for a nap or bedtime. The music is far from obnoxious and is actually quite soothing. The batteries last about a month (takes 4 C batteries). You can adjust the volume and pick what combos you want to use. We keep ours on the setting where it lights up but critters do not move. I found you get a longer battery life on this setting. This was a great purchase! You can even try it out online if you are curious what it sounds like. Click Here. Baby even knows how to turn it on all by himself now. Sometimes when I go in to get him in the morning he is laying there with the music playing. He is so smart!RATING: ****COMMENTS: Eats batteries for lunch. Take out a stock in Energizer before you buy this product!

The 4th water fall level names "Chat Keaw" which is the most beautiful water fall level. However, I took this photo at mid day so the strong day light did not allow me to get the great shots.Try to take close up leaf shots but I honestly don't know what species or name of leaves are. You can see them grow up close to water fall where there is a lot of moisture.

      Are you agile or waterfall?
An agent rang up about an agile project recently and asked me whether I had ever done work on an agile project. The simple answer is yes, dotted around many projects over the last 15 years and then for a full 10 years prior to that when I was a developer (And boy, was that agile. Ed). The agent wasn’t convinced by my answer as to him agile is the latest thing and hasn’t been around for that long so when I say I have been doing it off and on for decades he assumed I was being very economical with the truth. He went on to ask me whether the projects I worked on were waterfall type projects. This was obviously what he thought I worked on. My answer to that was yes I have worked on many waterfall projects. He went on to say that a lot of people don’t know what agile type development was and he obviously thought I didn’t. When I explained to him what agile was he said I was wrong and he came up with some mumbo-jumbo. It was obvious that this wasn’t an agent th

Wendy And Lisa - Waterfall (1989)
      When Prince broke up the Revolution in 1986, guitarist Wendy Melvoin and keyboardist Lisa Coleman, friends since childhood, decided to team up for a new musical project. The two had grown up together in Los Angeles, where both of their fathers were session musicians and encouraged their musical development from a young age. Coleman joined the Revolution in 1979 for Dirty Mind, and Melvoin signed on in 1984; in addition to their instrumental skills, the two also provided some of Prince's arrangements. Wendy and Lisa played almost all of the instruments on their self-titled debut and co-wrote most of the material with ex-Revolution drummer Bobby Z. After backing Joni Mitchell on Chalk Mark in a Rainstorm in 1988, the duo added Melvoin's twin sister Susannah and recorded Fruit at the Bottom, a song cycle about the ups and downs of romance. Several more family members joined up for the widely varied Eroica, which mixed Wendy & Lisa's disparate influences (funk, jazz, dance, pop, rock);

Waterfall makes some points on a subject that I often think about but nearly always refrain from discussing. And don't miss Bobby's comment to her post; it made me laugh.Look, the next time you're inclined to identify yourself as a writer (or a runner or pianist or whatever), think about this: If you met a professional dancer, would you say, "Cool! I'm a dancer, too. Yeah, I like to move to the groove in my living room in the afternoons, and I even took first prize in the company picnic dance-off"?No.You would not. Why?Because you would sound ridiculous.BENEDICK: "There's a double meaning in that."

      Waterfall
Why can't I write? I have maybe another 10 pages or so until I complete my novel, but I seem unable to do anything. Doesn't help that every other day some ignorant git decides to play with his radio-controlled car right outside my house - not an ordinary radio controlled car, but one with a noisy diesel engine which sounds like a giant wasp. I was enjoying last night's EastEnders until Gadget Man showed up at quarter to eight and proceeded to whizz his little toy round and round like a demented five year old. Used to the peace and quiet of where I live, this is not a welcome sound and it does nothing for my nerves. I mean, there are at least two beaches round here he can play on, he could go there rather then inflict his particular brand of anti-social noise-pollutant on us. I wished I had a radio-controlled aeroplane, then I could dive-bomb him or dump turds on his head. Naturally if it tipped down with rain Gadget Man would have to bugger off home, hence my wish for grey skies. I

The most amazing waterfall in the world

      River and waterfall at Magdalena
This is a nice, fresh (but really cold) river that feeds the Maddalena’s Lagoon at Huehuetenango. How do I get there? There are no tours, no hotels and no restaurants over there, so if you wanna go it will be on your car, bicycle or walking… From Guatemal City, the Interamericana Road will take you to Huehuetenango. From there take the road to Chiantla. Follow the ascent to Todos Santos and just ending the ascent, passing the “Look at, Olaverry”, you will see the sign that says “Madgalena 18km”. Drive or bike for 18 kilometers and you will be right from where this picture was taken. It is a nice mountain bike ride. Cold on winter, but nice and clear sky. Beautiful place.

Talk about attention-getting!
