Earlier tonight I went to the parent's portion of freshman orientation at the high schoool. It was pretty much a waste of time. Granted, I've done this three times before, but this one took the cake. The principal spoke for 40 minutes, mostly reiterating things that were in the provided handout and will be in the student handbook. He could have talked for 10 minutes, and referred folks to th

Money and time seem like two different concepts but they are actually tied in the world of business. Money is time and time is money but for different reasons. With time people can accomplish great things to make themselves money. Therefore, the more productive use of time the more money made per hour, day, week, second or minute. The more money you earn the better use of your time.Time and Produc
Am I wasting time right now? Yes. Do I care much? Not really.I'm not feeling especially good today, in some respects. Mostly in a physical sense. I've got a cough and sore throat, leading me to believe that I'm getting sick. I can only hope that this is the end of it and it won't get any worse. Mentally, I'm feeling quite good. I actually finished my reading for my English class last night. I was so proud of myself because I didn't think I could do it, but lo and behold, Janna pulled it off. Nearly 100 pages in an hour and a half! Not that the text was especially thick or difficult, but still. That's quite an accomplishment to me.Of course, it was only a matter of time before I got that itch again. That itch that says, "Critters are cute! You need more!" I know I don't need any more pets.
There’s 24 hours in a day. There’s 60 minutes in an hour. There’s 60 seconds in a minute. All day long, time ticks by. Are you making the best possible use of your time as a blogger? Or are you getting stuck in the temporal vortex of the internet - surfing, reading blogs, going off on tangents. all while the clock is ticking away your valuable blogging time?
The Trouble Is -
Where we blog is also where we do all our other internet related things. This isn’t like home and work, where you have a journey in between the two to separate your work from your play. 4. Url-a-dex
Fight for fame and glory by buying and selling shares of websites. Not sure if this is a ‘do something’ or ‘play something’, probably a little in between. The site uses Alexa rankings which everyone knows are somewhat arbitrary which makes it that much more realistic I suppose.
5. Duels
It’s like Magic the Gathering but online and very, very addictive. Approach with caution!
6. Desktop Tower Defense
If you haven’t played DTD you may have been living
Some webmasters simply waste their time with creating an account at Google Adsense, placing ads on their sites and waiting for money to come. Why? Because this webmasters have no interest in " playing fair ". They think that once they start serving Google ads on their blogs or sites, they can do whatever it takes to earn money ( including clicking their own ads, which is a clear fraud ).Even though Google has some clear rules and terms of service, most people ignore them and believe that they can simply beat the system. Well, this thing won't gonna happen, because the guys from Google have a very good and sophisticated tracking software, that monitors every action taken on their ads. When there's something suspicious, that doesn't respects their guidelines, they will suspend the account of those that are trying to break the rules. That's why it's always a good thing to read the terms of service from Google, because this aren't just a bunch of nonsenses.Sometimes the rules are clear
