However, I did a quick search online, and guess what, the recipe is all over the place. Here's the general idea.. mix some rubbing alcohol with a lot of water and add a tiny bit of dishsoap. I'm sorry, but I am really not going to measure this stuff out, it's windshield washer fluid. But, it works, and now I walk out of the store feeling free. So I received this great eggplant melton wool and this red flannel coating from Gorgeous Fabrics the other day. I put 5" squares in the washer and dryer. They came out minimally changed. The melton looks no different from the original and didn't shrink. The flannel coating shrunk about 1/4" in width and length. It got a little thicker too but there is hardly any difference.
