From what I've heard about Global Warming, it basically entails more extremes in weather. More droughts, more flooding. More blizzards, and hurricanes. More tornadoes and tropical storms. But I was watching a news program recently and they were discussing how the warming might lessen our heating bills by providing for a warmer winter. We took Zane to the ENT today. Great group of doctors. And the doctor that will be putting in Zane's tubes is regarded as the best in town. He'll be performing the procedure a week from today. However, given the severity of Zane's ear infections, they are trying to juggle their schedules to get Zane in for the procedure on Thursday morning. It's going to be the only way to relieve Zane of the nightly hot fevers. It happened again last night. We're worried, as is the doctor, about him suffering from such extreme fevers repeatedly. So the earlier the better. We'll see.-------------------------It's warm finally. After enduring cold temperatures for a couple of months, we're being treated to some spring-like weather. It's 2 p.m. and 73 F and sunny outside. I wish I didn't have to work. It would be nice to get out. We can't wait to get Zane back to normal so we can go for some walks with Lola. Says Sarah, "With the exception of the kitchen, everything is now a neutral shade of beige rather than the stark white that was there when we moved in. The guest bedroom is still white for now. The kitchen is a deep shade of brick red. I love how much everything stands out now and the warmth of the colors."

Try this simply delicious lamb recipe in your slow cooker, or similar.Feeds 4approx 675g/1 1/2 lb lamb s and p2 onions, peeled and chopped100g/4oz red lentils (tinned or pre-soaked)600 ml/1 pint of lamb stockrosemarythyme (or a dried mixed herbs shake)225g/8oz carrots (pre-cooked)225g/8oz swede (ditto)Basically, you could brown the lamb and onions, but I just put all the ingredients into my slow cooker (or it could go on the hob or in the oven).Leave for at least 2 hours - it could be a lot more.This would be idea for an aga too.IT IS ABSOLUTLEY DELICIOUS. If you're a considerate reader or listener then you've probably heard that I'm not doing so well which is weird, because actually everything is OK. And no, I'm not planning to start again, because you all know already what's wrong or... what's not wrong with me. Or both. See, I'm still not sure about stuff.Anyway, I have decided I need holidays. Alone. I will act against my principles and waste money that I don't have for holidays. Because, seriously... I need holidays. And sunshine, only warmer. Like whoah.
Oh yes ! Finally i can keep my coffee warm near me when i browse over the internet. This is truly awesome. It's USB powered, just plug it in, and your favourite warm (morning) drink will mentain it's 40 degrees centigrade temperature. I'll say it again. AWESOME.source
