English Premiership club Bolton Wanderes signs defender Jlloyd Samuel 26-year-old for free transfer. Samuel previously plays for other premiership club Aston Villa. “I was at Villa for 10 years and when you have been at a place for so long you become part of the furniture,” he said. “I felt like I needed a change and I’m sure that by coming up to Bolton I will get myself playing again. Bolton is the club to get my career back on track.” Samuel struggled for first-team this season. Samuel previously hinted on his personal website that his time with Aston Villa could be about to come to an end due to lack of recent opportunities. Samuel has been a professional at Villa for the last decade but the signing of Wilfred Bouma and various injury problems have limited his match action over the last two years. So, the mighty Arsenal finally ended their run of, well let’s face it, poor form with a win against our new so called “Bogey Team,” Bolton. I’ll openly admit that I was worried at the prospect of playing Bolton in our current position – needing to claim 4th place while at the same time dragging ourselves out of the slump we’ve been in.
