I have to say that in all the years I've lived in North America I have never been to a pumpkin patch. It was never really a big deal to me or my family (you know, having been born in a tropical climate and all). Even before having kids I was not interested in picking out pumpkins for halloween. I usually bought my pumpkins at a local grocery store. This year is different, though. Ava is able to toddle around and I know Cameron would really enjoy seeing the pumpkins. We went to our local farm and had a blast! They had a mini petting zoo, kettle corn (yum!), inflatable bouncers, and not to mention their farmer's market had a huge selection of goodies.Ok, so this really isn't a pumpkin patch but they do have one with lots of baby pumpkins growing.Unfortunately, Ava was not a big fan of the pumpkins. Sorry not to update this weekend. Since I was hosting the Carnival of Recipes, I wanted to give that post a few days in the top spot before updating you all. Well, I was having a really great week and weighed in at about 150 on Saturday morning. Then the rest of the weekend was a blur because I ended up getting busy doing family projects that I hadn't planned for like special loads of laundry, brining a roast to make pulled pork, going to Mah Jong with new friends from my writing group, and cleaning the house for guests. Then Monday turned into a flurry of writing, swim lessons, cookies, Diet Coke and leftover pulled pork (not to mention that I was hung over from all the wine I drank Sunday night). I didn't get to exercise either. Dammit. But now I'm back on the Extreme Fat Smash Diet and drinking my Celestial Seasoning's Diet Partner Tea to detox. Honda will release a new Accord wagon concept at the upcoming 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, a new model that’ll likely replace the current model pictured below.The Accord Tourer Concept gives an indication of the design direction for the next-gen Accord that’s expected to go on sale in Europe by the middle of next year. This is not the same car that was recently revealed for the North American market, which you can read up on by clicking here.The new Accord concept car will also preview a new low emission powertrain, likely to be the reveal of Honda’s upcoming diesel engine. A member of the StreetWagons Forums by the psudonym of 'DBVSWagon' snapped two shots of the Holden VE Commodore Wagon and the HSV Ute Maloo during a product presentation. For 2008, Subaru has simplified the Legacy/Outback line-up with the deletion of the Legacy Wagon and the Outback Sedan. That only leaves the Legacy Sedan and the Outback Wagon in the dwelling. In our opinion, the Outback Sedan is good riddance, especially for Subaru as it performed poorly in sales. Also, for the hefty price, we would just upgrade to a AWD sport-ute.
