      I Love Vans Frozen Waffles
I don't usually eat waffles for breakfast during the week, since I like to stick with 2 point breakfasts that allow me to eat more during the busy day. But, I *always* eat them on the weekend. I absolutely love Vans frozen waffles, the Belgian 7 grain shown in the picture are my favorite kind, but Vans makes many varieties of waffles, from multi- grain, to organic, to blueberry, to flax. Waffles dot FM Bittorrent overload
With all the publicity over the Oink shut down, Waffles.fm in an interview with Wired’s Threat Level shows just how far the torrent industry has come from its first tentative steps many years ago. It also shows just how hard it is going to be to get a handle on the illicit Bittorrent scene, no matter what the big media companies want. The response to waffles from the Bittorrent community has been overwhelming, he says. When the site first went live Thursday, it crashed after its servers were clogged by a barrage of 300 registration requests a minute. “It’s unbelievable,” Dead1 says. Source: Wired Threat Level In all though, with Waffles, it is going to be about being able to stay up under onslaught of registrations, and torrents being uploaded. This is enough to drive anyone down the tubes in relationship to providing service. Although it is also amusing to note that someone did a 90 Megabyte per second DDOS against them because that person did not get an invite.

      Japan Waffles On Myanmar Sanctions
The Japanese government is upset at the killing of a Japanese journalist who was covering events in Myanmar, but it is uncertain what to do about it. Prime Minister Fukuda urged the Burmese military to investigate the shooting. A spokesperson said: “We will strongly demand(the military government) not to repeat an event like the again. Unlike other nations, Japan has made no move to impose sanctions of the military junta. However, there are rumors Japan might recall its ambassador from Myanmar. It is sad when the murder of someone is described as “an event.” An event is going to a concert, a murder is the death of a human being. Myanmar is governed by a bunch of thugs who has stolen billions from their own people and killed and slaughtered thousands. Those are not events, they are the murderous actions of some sick criminals.

Incredible Waffles in Korea: Cafe imA
You're in for a real treat today because the meal you're about to witness was one of our favorite meals in Seoul. It's a shame that we only found out about this place during our last week in Korea. The Gwanghwamun area is home to museums, palaces, and tonnes of cafes and coffee shops. Whenever we visited the City Hall area, we would always end up in Gwanghwamun to grab a bite to eat. Remember the last time we had waffles at The Place? Those waffles were good, but as you will soon realize, the waffles at Cafe imA in Gwanghwamun take the cake as some of the best waffles we've ever had.We dropped by on a Saturday afternoon, and Cafe imA was jam packed. The wait for a table would be 30-40 minutes--this is for the waffles of course! We had lots of time so we decided to bunker down, find a seat and wait. After watching the line grow and grow, we didn't feel too bad about waiting. Just what kind of waffles would we be having? Here's the inside of the dining area. There are two areas for p

In the morning, I’m makin’ waffles!
Anyone recognize that obscure movie quote? Hint: think animated and braying. This summer I received an unexpected present - a George Foreman Next Grilleration Removable-Plate grill. Whew, that’s a mouthful. The gift was a complete surprise. I didn’t know I needed a new grill. I hadn’t been shopping and drooling over kitchen appliances. It wasn’t even on my Amazon gift list. What was I thinking?? Since receiving this wonderful grill, I think I’ve used it nearly every single day. What? Don’t you take your electric grill outside to the picnic table for photo shoots? Be honest now. I’ve used it to make pancakes, waffles, grilled cheese sandwiches, lemon pepper chicken tenders, cheese quesadillas, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, and hamburgers. Breakfast is one of my all time favorite parts of the day - when else can you have sweets, carbs and protein all at the same time and call it a ‘meal’? This new grill is PERFECT for brea

The Fresh Waffles and Cream Lady in Hongdae
Some people follow the mantra that hard work pays off (well, it does most of the time). I believe in this too most of the time and so does the following waffle lady in Hongdae. If you haven't spotted her little waffle shack yet, you should. It's one of the most popular snack stalls in Hongdae and it's located up the hill on the same side as the Giordano store. What's the secret to her success? Well, for starters she sells fresh made waffles with your choice of cream or ice cream as a filling--for only 600w. Usually, most food stalls charge 1000w+ for something similar (like in Myeongdong). So her money making plan is to sell waffles by volume by working super fast. It's quite amazing watching her pour the waffle batter into her three waffle presses, taking the cooked waffles out to cool, making the waffles, and at the same time accepting cash and giving change.Let's say she is able to sell two to three waffles a minute, with no washroom break and working as fast as she can. How mu

      Gofres (Waffles) (II)
Crepes, Waffles & Pancakes
Crepes, Waffles, And Pancakes!: Over 100 Recipes for Hearty Meals, Light Snacks, And Delicious Desserts by Kathryn Hawkins begins with a brief history of pancakes around the world, and continues with an overview of the basics (add extra eggs and melted butter to pancake batter to make crepes, and a rising agent to make waffles), including variations on the main ingredients—flour, a liquid (usually milk), eggs—and how readers can change the taste by varying the type of flour (e.g., buckwheat, chickpea, gluten-free, etc.). Divided into breakfast, main meals (which encompass lunches and dinners), desserts, snacks and accompaniments, the recipes range from hearty (Breakfast Waffle Sandwich) to sweet (Oatmeal Pancakes with Raspberries) and salty sweet (Deep-Pan Bacon and Apple Pancakes). What I like about this cookbook is that it's adventurous. It features recipes for unusual pancake and waffle recipes like Poppy Seed Waffles with Rattouille, Red Beet Crepes with Smoke Fish (and
