The Spice Girls are about to release their greatest hits compilation, and the second brand new song to appear on the collection is the up-beat “Voodoo”. Anything ending in the suffix of tator causes me to get strange visions in my mind... visions that I cannot easily remove. It makes me want to do bizarre and inexplicable things to the potatoes in my pantry. In this vein I have invented a new and exciting form of entertainment in my home. It's called Potato Voodoo. Whenever I don't like someone, I go and crouch in the dark corners of my pantry and begin poking things into potatoes that represent whomever I am displeased with and after that, I feel much better.As a school project a couple of days ago, I decided to teach my kids this evil and mystical art of Voodoo. Potato Voodoo. You too can play potato Voodoo. All you need is a potato and some sort of implements with which to impale them. -Ive finally gotten a chance to sit down and watch Voodoo Moon. Halfway through I felt like I was watching an entire TV show series rolled up into 2 hours. Seriously, the way things were rushed-the plot wouldve done better as a TV show...and if this was a TV show-then I feel dumb...

In the midst of all the Cheney shooting news, the press has pretty much overlooked the most interesting story of the week.This tale of a woman smuggling a male human head into Florida is interesting to me on many levels, not the least of which is that it involves voodoo. Second, it took place in south Florida, which is one of the weirdest places ever -- and is also where I grew up. The charges filed against the woman are pretty amusing -- including failing to declare the head on a customs declaration form and transporting hazardous material.The best part of the story: The woman's name is Myrlene Severe.
Amoungs the caos my voodoo lily sprouted a three foot tall bloom ! I quickly had to remove it from the house to the greenhouse as nobody could stand the smell. These flowers smell like something died and is decaying. Still they are so beautiful to watch grow through the cycle of tree to flower.
Yesterday, we went to check out a house for rent at Pillar Village, Las Piñas. The place wasn't exactly what we wanted, but we had to politely stay and listen some of the land lady's stories (she lived alone and seemed kinda lonely). Wrong choice! she talked for over an hour and it made my headached!
