I’m not usually one to tear up at every chick flick that someone tricks me into watching, so I never really expected I’d ever catch myself crying to an anime, but this immensely beautiful piece of modern art proved me wrong. We have long known that our toddler Little Miss has been frightened by sudden or loud sounds. A car backfires, the car alarm goes off, something is dropped that clangs, even her own talking stuffed toys have been known to cause her to burst into tears if they have gone off suddenly. It’s not all that uncommon for these type of reactions, toddlers are often easily startled by loud or sudden noises, so it’s no big deal - as long as I remember not to hit the car alarm button when one of the doors is open But we have discovered of late that the other end of the spectrum is just as upsetting to the toddler. Apparently he decided either that everyone was right or that all that anger at his reappointment would hurt his chances of doing anything successful. I commend him for doing this. I think he should not have stepped up to the plate in the first place, but so be it. This is for the best. While Burt might have meant well this time around, many of the people complaining about him are right: his previous record will taint anything he does.Thank Mr. Burt for stepping down. In his place we now have Russell Davis. I have no idea if he will do a good job or if he will screw up like Burt, but at least this is a chance for change. I agree with a lot of what he said in his lengthy post, so I hope for the best here.That's good news!More good news?
