Consistently, more and more methods of caring for your health appear on the market, offering some great new way to stay healthy. One option that has become popular recently is vitamin water. Vitamin water can be a replacement for regular water, since it comes in a variety of flavors and contains nutrients that are vital for the body's proper functioning. Before deciding whether or not to make drin
So today I want to rant a little on health drinks. Well, I want to talk about just one. Men’s Health voted Glaceau Vitamin Water as the worst “healthy” drink. Here’s why I’m ranting and why I agree with the article. So many people buy into every new health beverage that comes along. I mean [...]
Tales of Coke's ability to dissolve a set of choppers in a glass overnight or to put a sheen on a rust-stained kitchen sink might be urban legends (we ended up eating the T-bone we had soaking in a vat of the stuff, so we can't comment conclusively on that one, but don't recommend this method of preparation to diabetics), there is no doubt that the soft drink has ruined many alcoholic beverages.
I have been trying energy waters left and right, but haven’t given the time of the day to the category leader and innovator since I last reviewed Vitamin Water Power and Energy over a year ago. In that time Vitamin Water has been bought by Coke and has become completely ubiquitous appearing in pretty much every convenience store, gas station, super market, and drug store I go into. Today I aim t
First 50, now Alicia Key has reportedly landed a $25 million deal with beverage company Glaceau to front a new campaign for its Vitamin Water line. Ms. Keys will become the new face of the company's health-conscious products. And of course 50 had to share his opinions with us saying, "I don't like Alicia Keys no more [for] the same reason why I said that I don't like Oprah Winfrey," he says "I'm p

I recently read an article about vitamins being added to soda and thought that this was probably the most outrageous thing I have ever heard as a marketing campaign (next to Nicotine Water last year). I usually do not post on the crazy society we all live in but this is just crazy.
Show me the evidence that Vitamins are good for you. I used to work for a Vitamin company who had over 63 different brand names all under one roof. They marketed themselves in a way that NOBODY knew that the vitamins on the store shelf were all produced using the same formula, in the same warehouse and by the same chemists but under different names. I always thought it was disgusting that they ran this kind of fraud but maybe that is too hard a term.
We have vitamins in our water, specially branded so that a different colored bottle helps with memory, while others help keep you awake or your mood relaxed. Of course, most of it is mental with the amount of vitamins being added to these products so low in qua
I am buying pork buns in Famima Super Convenience Mart tonight. A young white couple walks down the aisle, holding hands. Both wear all black; the boy is tall and lanky with black hair, bangs hanging over his eyes and sideburns down past his ears. The girl is pale, lips blackened, heavy dark eyeliner, black hair with purple streaks and a small peace sign tattooed on her forehead. They approach the refrigerated beverages and each take a can of "Rockstar" energy drink. Girl: Ha, vitamin water. My mom wouldn't let me drink those. Boy: She's a stupid bitch. Frickin' nag. Don't matter what she thinks now, right? Take one. Take two.Girl: Geez, relax.Boy: What? Girl: No, I'm just saying. Boy: Relax? Why didn't you tell her to relax? Girl: Come on. She just said there's tons of sugar and - Boy: Whatever.Girl: Come on. Come on, baby. The girl extends her hand. The boy doesn't take it.
Yup, hes laughing straight to the back with this…
For those that haven’t heard, Coca-Cola just bought Glaceau the firm behind the Vitamin Water and Curtis’s Formula 50 drink for 4.1 billion dollars.
Since 50 Cent owns 10 percent of Glaceau, the purchase means that he’s just profited 400 million just like that… I ain’t mad.
