After months of being left in the dark after the first release of Microsoft Ultimate Extra’s for Windows Vista’s Ultimate edition Microsoft surprised us yesterday with some new content.
I admit – surprised is sort of the wrong word used to describe my feelings for the latest batch of Ultimate Extra’s…
But nonethe less - Get ready to justify Ultimate’s [...]

The second is the Pearl sound scheme, which further extends the intentionally subtle design of the Vista default sound scheme with a richer, milky palate. Dreamscene Content Pack & Language Packs have also been updated.

If you’re looking for a grey theme, then you’ve found one of the best. This theme has a cool techie and Alien feel to it. Usually grey themes are depressing but I don’t find this one is like that at all. I like how the buttons are greyed out and overal transparent look of this [...]
Without a doubt, in the face-off between Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, the platforms' strong and weak points contribute to the subjective superiority of one product over the others. The top operating system is ultimately a combination of marketing and consumer perspective. But once in a while the three platforms are thrown in the same arena together against a common challenge. It is the case of

After almost a year launched, I decided to try Vista. First thing that came to my mind was to make it dual boot. Simply because I still want to Window XP and at the same time I can learn Vista. I’ve done this with Win98 and Windows XP. After doing same research, I found 3 most important things to make sure a successful Vista installation.
1. At least 512 MB ram – I GB is
If you thought the Ultimate Extras situation couldn’t get any worse, then you have much to learn young Jedi, because rock bottom is only an illusion. It appears that what was left of the Ultimate Extras - 16 language packs (I know, they are counted as extras) - have now been sucked into the void of unknown. Fan, just som jag ville ha min Vista på svenska ja!
Whether this is a widespread technical glitch or intentional symptom as a result of upgrades to the backend in preparations for more and better Ultimate Extras remains to be speculated. Even if all my money’s on a technical glitch, there is still a quantum chance the Ultimate Extras team will deliver on their latest promise to ship the final version of DreamScenes and the remaining 20 Language Packs before the “end of summer” (September).
However for those of you who are in need of their language “fix”, a Channel9 member has kindly posted the language pack download links directly from the Windo
flangracneig pgoramian A lot of people have talked a lot about those Apple Ads and the fact it’s a terrible piece of casting (the Mac comes across like Jeremy from Peep Show: an arrogant jerk, whilst the PC comes across like Mark: a difficult, awkward yet amicable character). However, it isn’t just Mac who produce quality adverts that actually don’t quite work.
I walked into a local computer shop, looking for nothing in particular, whereby I found a leaflet advertising Windows Vista in all it’s wonderful shapes and sizes. It was well designed, don’t get me wrong, but by god one thing made me laugh.
I’m sorry, but if I had a new “cutting edge” piece of software, I’m sure I could find something better to advertise it than a card game. I mean, my phone has card games on it, and they are a lot better.
In happier news: Windows Vista has Texas Hold ‘Em……..bonus!
