Vanessa Lee Carlton (born August 16, 1980) is an American soft rock/Piano pop singer, songwriter, and pianist best known for the single "A Thousand Miles" from her debut album, Be Not Nobody which was released April 30, 2002, which was certified platinum in the U.S. The commercial failure of Carlton's second album, Harmonium (released November 9, 2004), led her to part company from her record label A&M, though she still holds a dedicated fanbase. Her third album, Heroes and Thieves, was released on October 9, 2007 on Irv Gotti's record label The Inc.[Wiki]

This video is awesome and I really like the concept of it. The track is the lead single from Vanessa Carlton's upcoming album Heroes & Thieves due out in October, which will be the first album with her new label The Inc. The opening scene is definitley the best part of the music video. It is reference to her debut music video, "A Thousand Miles" where shes leaves her home, playing her piano through several states.
