Acne Prevention Tips Presents:
The Unspoken Horror Of Adult Acne
Did you know that more than 25% of the adult population worldwide suffers from acne? If we leave the pages of statistical data and look at people with plain eyes it will be hard to find a man or a woman who did not suffer the gnawing problem of zits. However, even though this problem is "skin deep", its effects germinat

From the I'm South Park cheesin' department... Idol-C wrote in about his show with Unspoken Levels @ Flipnotics at the Triangle on March 28th. I'm guessing that's a picture of them or just some random dudes put up on their myspace page. :)And above all else... the show's free!More info:It's all about hip-hop, dancing, and good vibes.Since the release of their 2003 debut, Time to Change, Unspoken Levels have been turning some heads, bringing the party, and pushing forward with their up-beat message and sound. Pulling some serious inspiration from a lifetime of songs and experiences, the emcee brothers, Mr. Metaphysical and Idol-C, bring a fresh breath of clarity, peace, and urgency to the mic. All this is rooted in an eclectic foundation of some funky hip hop, produced with just as much lov

A silent tear punctuatedHis placid eyes, Andswiftly rolled down his cheek onto the floor,A forlorn moon gazed at the black silhouette-Standing at the window,His mind racing in another universe, Ofhappiness & freedom,A life he'd longed for so badly,A life that would end all his miseries.Below, the roar of the sea intensified hisDying feelings, Intensified his restlessnessto abandon this material world,To reunite with his Lord.He wouldn't have to be itinerant any more,He wouldn't have to beg for mercy any more,Many a crime he had perpetrated with ruthless aggression,And yet, he had felt sympathy for the victims sometimes. He wasn't that bad after all."But, what does it all matter now?", he said aloud"When Black has engrossed me?"This inevitable end seemed to be the only fitting conclusio

"Unspoken"mechanical pencil on paper6" x 8" "Unspoken" Detail 1 "Unspoken" Detail 2 "Unspoken" Detail 3 This is the second drawing in my "Un" collection. This one is all about things we may think about but are left unspoken. The lips are the body part that are drawn because this is where we have a chance to say our thoughts, but may choose to keep them secret. I drew hearts exploding out of the barrier because we often do not speak of who we love and how we love. The second part of the drawing has exclamation pointsm which symbolize unspoken ideas. The final part is drawn with clouds which show unspoken dreams. Hope you like it! Shannon This drawing is $40.00 (Shipping and sales tax included).

Today I was in a discussion with a friend of mine about the people's eyes and what they hide behind them, feelings, truth, lies and all the rest of what is hidden inside the depth of one's soul and heart and thought, so I kept thinking about the subject and here I am again writing my thoughts of the subject.in my own beliefs the eyes of the person are the portal to his soul, the naked truth behind the protective field, the shell of which each person build as protection from the outside world, to protect his inside feelings and thoughts, this little organ that we often see in it what cannot be put in words, sorrows and happiness.our eyes are the first thing in us that gives us away, that explode our emotions of happiness or of sadness or pain, they give away if someone lies or if someone is saying the truth, they give away our true feelings, for instance and to take a positive energy example, laughter, how can we be sure that when someone laughs its true that deep down he is not cryin
Hey Folks,
Today I am going to talk about “The Secret” Movie. Yap, the one by Rhonda Bryne and featuring Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, Joe Vitale to name a few. I bet most of you have seen it or at least heard about it. Never heard about it? Ok, you can check it out here.
Now, I have heard both good and bad comments about the movie. Those who love it say it’s inspiring! Those who hate it say you can’t just sit and dream about success and hope that it comes true! So do I hate it or love it? What would you think if I tell you that I agree with both the lovers and haters of “The Secret“! Surprise :D.
Actually, “The Secret” is a very well package product that sell the idea of positivity or what the show calls the “Law of Attraction”. It combines sound, vision and some cool effects to stir the viewers emotion and presents the idea that everything is possible. I know how it feels because thats how I felt after watching it. I actually f
The unspoken warThe Cold War's battlefields may have been out of sight, but they're not out of mind to that era's veterans, who now want to honor these forgotten soldiers.By John BarryPublished May 28, 2007Frank M. Tims, 70, of St. Petersburg, is an officer of the Cold War Veterans Association. The organization lobbies on behalf of servicemen who died in the Cold War, but never received recognition for their service. [Scott Keeler Times] [Handout photo]These are the medals that honor the Cold War Veterans, many who fought in secret conflicts and were never recognized for their service and for the ultimate sacrifice. There are more than 300 veterans who died in conflict during the Cold War.The most famous Cold War veteran was: Maybe Francis Gary Powers. He died in an accidental crash of a weather research plane after running out of oxygen. Or so his family was told. Then the Soviets produced a live Francis Gary Powers and put him on public trial. He had parachuted into their hands a

Cue the drum roll, the dramatic music, and the hush over the crowd.I changed the title of my blog. You did WHAT?!I know, I know, this is drastic. And, like so many of you, I loved the previous title, "Write it All Down. Quickly." But I continually felt like I was failing. I felt like I was pretending to have a blog about writing, and not really even doing a good job of pretending, at that. I felt pressure to write things so that I could put them in my blog, and because of the pressure I felt uninspired. When I didn't write things I felt like I was failing, which added to the pressure and uninspired...osity. It was really a Dane Cook-style Vicious Circle. That said, I feel like this title is freeing! Heck, I can muse about the overrated benefits of toilet seat covers if I feel so inclined. (caveat: you might not want to hold your b
Look for this new documentary sometime in 2007:"Resilience finally gives birthmothers who had to give up their child a voice about being single mothers, international adoption practices and society. The documentary allows them to contemplate this serious, but often ignored and misrepresented, social issue in Korea. The personal stories about how and what happened are sometimes shocking and very emotional to the women. Only a few of the approached women had enough courage to participate. ``There are some birthmothers who are ready to speak up. The ones who participated usually met their child again.'' The sensitiveness of the topic is illustrated by one young woman being filmed in silhouette."Although it has a very religious tone which may be oft putting to some readers, the book, I Wish for You A Wonderful Life offers another useful glimpse into the perspective of our children's Korean mothers.(c)Roberta Rosenberg. This morning I had some free time to just rest. I was suffering from a cold and I had been taking care of all my other sick family members all week. Finally, this morning, all the kids were feeling better and in school. I came home after dropping off the kids with delicious thoughts of just resting. However, once I stepped into the house, my addiction kicked in. I saw dirty dishes that needed to be washed, the laundry pile that needed to be folded and put away, the Xmas presents that needed wrapping, the Xmas cards that needed to be sent out, the meat that has been thawing in the fridge for few days that needed to be cooked, the emails that needed responses, the work that I had put aside to nurse my family, the trash cans that needed to be emptied, the pile of magazines that needed to be read....My eyes darted from one item that needed to be taken care of to another in seconds as my mind did pop-up screens of my to do list. UGH! I pushed all those thoughts aside and reminded myself tha
