Bermuda TriangleThe Bermuda Triangle, also called the Devil's Triangle, is an imaginary area that can be roughly outlined on a map by connecting Miami, Florida; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the Bahamas, an island chain off the coast of the United States. Within that triangular area of the Atlantic Ocean have occurred a number of unexplained disappearances of boats and planes. Additionally, readings

1)The Taos HumSome residents and visitors in the small city of Taos, New Mexico, have for years been annoyed and puzzled by a mysterious and faint low-frequency hum in the desert air. Oddly, only about 2 percent of Taos residents report hearing the sound. Some believe it is caused by unusual acoustics; others suspect mass hysteria or some secret, sinister purpose. Whether described as a whir, hum
The entire week was gray. Like I've mentioned on my Tuesday's post here. I was freaked out with matters of the paranormal. On Wednesday morning, a phone call was received saying one of my grand uncle passed away. Entire week's center of attraction was the funeral wake.There are things left unexplained scientifically. Chinese believe that during Red(examples; weddings or births) or White(examples;

"Unexplained Bacon:The Name"'''
While practicing early in there career, Bacon was offered their First gig at the Castle Tavern in Greenwood Lake,NY. The only problem is they didn't have a name. So while in conversation, The Simpsons came up, the guitarist mentioned an episode where Homer Simpson wakes up to Bacon cooking. In his catchphrase he said, "Mmmm, Unexplained Bacon". The name seemed to stick, and that's the story of Bacon:The Name.

I feel like I want to barf this is so disturbing to me. Everyone obviously knows about the Abu Ghraib scandal with the pictures and the humiliation of prisoners.(who haven't been charged or convicted of any crime!) As if that wasn't bad enough, today I stumbled upon an old article by the AP about how a man, Manadel al-Jamadi, was murdered, yes MURDERED, at Abu Ghraib. Apparently this man was tortured by a method known as strappado. Did I mention this was employed by the Nazi's? I can't go into the details but it is disgusting. The evidence of said crime came about when the photos of the prison came out. The photos featuring Mr.al-Jamadi were taken with his swollen body in ice as soldiers took pictures smiling next to him. I urge my readers who have stronger stomach's than myself to read th
A dentist noticed that his next patient, a little old lady, was nervous so he decided to tell her a little joke as he put on his gloves.
“Do you know how they make these gloves?” he asked.
“No, I don’t,” she replied.
“Well,” he spoofed, “there’s a building in Canada with a big tank of latex and [...]
Motivating people to deal with the inevitable mental chaos that comes in safety decision-making requires explanation in anticipation of it. When we anticipate things, particularly what we’d call the ‘abnormal’ things that bring on chaotic feelings, we can plan to respond in the appropriate way. It requires explanation. It’s “When this happens, [...]

Our resident 'ghostie' has been quiet lately. Not sure if it's because he's actually been quiet or if we've just not noticed - I like to kind of 'turn off' that part of me and refuse to see things sometimes.
Sunday night the kids and I had a good laugh about the timing of a couple things that may or may not have been 'something'. I was in the kitchen with Coffeekid (15) and Coffeegirl (11).
At my first pregnancy, I started having kidney stones and it hurt so badly on one side of my abdomen and often make me would scream and cry. At that time, Tylenol was the only allowed drug for me and even worse that drug didn't help to ease my pain at all. My doctor suggested me to go to the hospital and interestingly, they found nothing wrong with two days and me later when I already get back at home I passed two pea-sized kidney stones. What a relief.
Soon, I contact my doctor immediately and tell him what happened. He had initially thought I just had a low pain tolerance and in a very nice word told me to toughen up. But after I told him that I just passed two stones recently, he finally realise that he got a wrong diagnosis on me! And I had face a lot of pain during my last two pregnancies by developing kidney stones at such a rapid rate.

Food allergies, which claim the lives of 100 to 200 people and send another 30,000 to the emergency room each year, are on the rise in the United States.In fact, they’ve doubled in the last 15 years, according to this Washington Post article, and now affect 4 percent of adults and 8 percent of children aged 2 and under.There are many theories about why food allergies are now classified as a public health problem. Among them, the hygiene hypothesis, which contends that growing up in an overly sterile environment can cause our immune systems to overreact when they’re confronted with harmless substances.Some also blame changes in the way food is processed, genetically engineered foods, or the age when solid foods are first given to infants.Among the most allergenic foods are pasteurized milk, soy, peanuts and wheat (gluten), but you can also be allergic or sensitive to food additives like artificial colors or preservatives.And while some food allergy reactions are dramatic (like anaph
Earlier this week I had a little tiny moment I could have blogged about but it wasn't a big one, and I wasn't really sure 'how' to blog about it or what kind of a spin to put on it. So... I didn't say anything. I guess I'm just going to write the bare facts and label it as it goes under the 'ghost' label and really... many of those have no real explanation either. LOL.
