Magners League Munster travelled up to Ravenhill with an understrength team yesterday, after Declan Kidney decided to rest the majority of his international stars. Ulster were at pretty much full strength, and so were expected to win. They needed to win, and ideally to secure a bonus point, in order to maintain the pressure on Leinster, the league's leaders.And at half time Ulster were well on their way towards that fourth try, with 3 scored for a half-time lead of 21-3 points.
Ulster extended their losing streak away to Llanelli over the weekend, but they did manage to secure the losing bonus point in a match that ended Llanelli Scarlets 17 - 11 Ulster. And with Isaac Boss being forced out of the game after only 18 minutes Eddie O'Sullivan has called up Wasps scrum-half Eoin Redden as cover.

Whatever about Danielli, an average enough Scottish fringe international, signing for Ulster, the signing of Rob Dewey by the Ulstermen is a bleak moment for Scottish pro rugby. A young, talented and very robust first centre, his abilities were well underlined by his performance for Scotland against Wales two weekends ago.
