Uhuru: The Knight of the Long Knives
Former South African Intelligence Officer Gustav Muller speaks about "Uhuru". Also known as The Knight of the Long Knives, Mnr. Muller puts forward the case that a long-simmering plot is being hatched by Communist Bantus as a "final solution" for Whites in South Africa. Using events documented by mainstream news services and freely-available to the public, Mnr. Muller builds his case to prove that Uhuru is indeed underway. This interview is especially poignant due to recent events in African politics. Bristling from the fine mixing work of Soljie and Maxie, the album is basically a reworking of the band's breakthrough Chill Out release from the year before, albeit in often unrecognizable form. But if you like your dub with a healthy dose of apocalyptic effects from syndrums, synthesizers, and mixing board alike, then The Dub Factor will do the trick. Hello, Africa!Sparks fly in this week's "Hello, Africa!" as Jan Lamprecht of AfricanCrisis.org calls in to discuss the disputed "Uhuru" SMS campaign that unfolded in South Africa this past week.Several weeks ago, former SA air force intelligence officer Gustav Muller appeared on The Right Perspective to talk about his findings on "Uhuru," or "Knight of the Long Knives".This past week, an SMS and e-mail was widely circulated throughout South Africa, reporting that former president Nelson Mandela had passed away and "Uhuru" was about to happen. The electronic messages, which called on Whites to leave the cities and head for so-called "safety zones," was branded a hoax by South African police. Even Nelson Mandela's press secretary made a statement to reassure the public, saying the former president was resting comfortably on holiday in Mozambique.Lamprecht became enraged when a caller to the show, South African Boere Henry, called in to dispute Lamprecht's opinions.
