Waterville, Maine (ThaLunatic Daily) -- Leroy J. Fuller, a 66 year old registered sex offender has been arrested after molesting a child in a thrift store. But this isn't the first time he's sexually assaulted children. It's not the second time either. Fuller keeps right on fondling and assaulting and exposing himself to them while Maine keeps setting him free.Fuller was arrested Monday night after he allegedly groped a 6 year old girl who was on a shopping trip with her family at a Ken-A-Set thrift store. He has been charged with unlawful sexual contact according to arresting officer Sgt. Jeffrey Bearce."The 6-year-old related to me that she was in the toy section and an elderly gentleman gave her a stuffed toy and talked to her and then grabbed her in the private area," Bearce sai

New York Mets first baseman Carlos Delgado has been in a slump as of late - and the fans at Shea Stadium have let him know it. Perhaps Sunday's game against the Atlanta Braves was the tonic that he needed as he clubbed two home runs, leading New York to a 6-3 victory over Atlanta at Shea. New York's offense was led by the aforementioned Delgado as he went 2-for-2 with 2 HRs, scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 while Luis Castillo and reserve catcher Raul Casanova had 3 hits each - with Casanova homering, scoring a run and driving in 2. Nelson Figueroa (2-1) picked up the win for New York as he pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing 7 hits, 3 earned runs, walking 3 while striking out 3 while closer Billy Wagner picked up his 6th save.Atlanta was led by the trio of Jeff Francoeur, Mark Teixeira and Mar

I was discussing blogging with Natalie Ferguson a few nights ago, and how I haven’t kept up the frequency here. I remember hitting the 600 mark in 2006, but these days, it’s down to roughly weekly, at least here. As those who follow my blogging know, I began as a quarterly blogger in 2003 with Beyond Branding (Google Blogger never fixed our blog’s home page despite numerous complaints over the last year), and it was really Johnnie Moore who led the charge on that site. I did the template, and then Johnnie really took it to a strong position. By 2005 I began heading there weekly, then almost daily, before branching off to this blog in 2006. When Vox invited me to beta-test its service in 2006, I began by dividing my blogging. Initially, I put

Boston Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez seems to always do well against the New York Yankees; in Thursday's contest against the Yankees, Ramirez' victim happened to be New York starting pitcher Mike Mussina. Ramirez hit 2 home runs as Boston held off a late New York rally, defeating the Yankees 7-5 at Yankee Stadium. Boston was led by the aforementioned Ramirez, who went 3-for-5 with 2 HRs, 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs while Dustin Pedrioa, Kevin Youkalis, J.D. Drew and Jason Varitek added 2 hits each; Jacoby Ellsbury stole his 3rd and 4th bases of the season. Josh Beckett (2-1) got the win as he pitched 8 strong innings, allowing 6 hits, 3 earned runs, walking 1 while striking out 5.New York was led by Melky Cabrera and Bobby Abreu with 2 hits each - Cabrera also added a HR; Mussina (1-3) was

Perhaps the aging process can’t be stopped. But it can be predicted, and new research from Tel Aviv University indicates that people may live longer and lead healthier lives as a result.Researchers have developed a new biological marker that represents the age of a body’s bones. It reveals that the speed of physical aging is strongly influenced by genetics.Christened the osseographic score (OSS), this new marker can be used by doctors as a scientific tool for predicting a person’s general functioning and lifespan, says Tel Aviv University scientist Dr. Leonid Kalichman, an instructor at The Stanley Steyer School of Health Professions. He is a co-author of the study published in Biogerontology and the American Journal of Human Biology (2007), which was conducted in partnership with Dr
Getting approved for a conforming home loan is now tougher than before.
Again.
As home loan defaults mount, government-sponsored financier Fannie Mae has imposed new guidelines on what it will lend and to whom, highlighting the need for a strong credit profile and a downpayment.
In other words, Fannie Mae is outright declining mortgage applicants whose credit is weak and whose payment history shows signs of trouble. But, it's not just the "fringe" borrowers that are finding it harder to get a mortgage.
Buyers with strong credit profiles are being hit by new changes, too.
One such change says that owners of second homes must now have a 10 percent equity position in their homes; 15 percent if the property is in a "declining market".
This is up from 5 and 10 percent

Chris Sampson gave up three runs in four frames to take the loss. Lance Berkman went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Carlos Lee singled in a run for Houston. The Astros take today off before a three-game stand against the Florida Marlins starting at 7:05 tomorrow night at Minute Maid. Roy Oswalt is set to pitch for Houston.

As demand soars in China and other emerging economies, the world is clamoring for minerals and metals to build everything from sewer systems to power plants. That's putting immense pressure on the geologists, engineers and modern-day Indiana Jones-type explorers who are tasked with finding the next big reserves. Adding to the pressure on Rio Tinto is a takeover bid by BHP Billiton, an Anglo-Australian mining company, valued at $147 billion. Mr. Albanese says he hopes to help fend off BHP by capturing more reserves quickly. That could boost Rio Tinto's net worth -- or at the very least, persuade BHP to

Fudzilla: "We have seen some marketing talk from the DAAMIT machine and it was funny to read that its upcoming RV770 mainstream chip will end up twice as fast as RV670.Well, this is probably right, but this would naturally be the best case scenario. You should count on average 20 to 30 percent performance improvement but in some resolutions and at some settings, the new RV770 might really leave the RV670 aka Radeon 38x0 cards in the dust and score twice as fast.It is possible, as we could see with 9600GT that ends up twice faster than 8600GT but mainly because of the 128 versus 256-bit memory controller and the fact that the 8600GT was barely faster than the old 7600GT to begin with."
While I don't believe that the "only wear an outfit once" mentality is good for the environment, I'm disappointed that Posh Spice decided to put this sorry excuse for style on exhibit twice. Since her fame with the Spice Girls ended, Victoria Beckham has tried desperately to get her foot in the fashion industry. She's started a fashion line that even she refuses to wear and has now moved onto appearing at every fashion show known to mankind. Enough already. Lots of money does not equal good taste, as evidenced above. Victoria has committed this crime against fashion not once, but twice, wearing the jersey skirt and top complete with a mesh, see-through midriff. That's class all the way, baby.

With the Fed's decision to only cut interest rates by 0.25%, we should all be reminded that it is certainly not wise to buy all at once. No matter how great your stock is, there are other factors out there in the market that could affect your stocks performance, even if the company is raking in the money. What you need to realize is the difference between a stock that has been taken down along with the market, and one that truly does deserve to go down based on it's future earnings and fundamentals.

November 13 “Z-Day” is fast approaching and Microsoft’s got one last magic trick up its sleeve for the 2nd-generation Zune.
Earlier today, the ever-reliable ZuneScenes.com reported on an insider source leak describing various pre-purchase hardware customization options for the Zune 80 - including color, text and logo etching. This offer will be free to customers who order via zune.net. Then the source goes on to explain how the Zune team will slice the heads off anyone who leaks this information early. Ouch, because no other than Microsoft itself has confirmed the rumor, twice in fact.
First, a user on Gizmodo had the idea of looking at the domain records for zuneoriginals.com. Not surprisingly the owner is indeed Microsoft who registered it on June 9, and last updated it November 9.

An article in theregister.co.uk mentions how a Chicago-based data hosting center, C I Host, was broken into twice. The more recent case was about a month ago, on October 2nd, when armed robbers (!) broke into the facility by “cutting into the reinforced walls with a power saw.” The night manager present was tasered and struck with a blunt instrument. Then, the robbers made off with equipment belonging to C I Host and their customers, including servers.
In the ensuing days, C I Host turned the robbery into a major PR fiasco, taking several days to admit that there was a breach at the location. In the meantime, they told affected customers that servers were down, routers were not working, etc.—anything but the truth. What was management thinking? We’re they planning on surreptitiously replacing the customers’ machines? What about the data on those machines? Copy them over from back ups? What about the serial numbers o

One Night 4 College Students Were Playing Till Late Night And Didn’t Study For The Test Which Was Scheduled For The Next Day.
In the morning they thought of a plan. They made themselves look
dirty and worn out with grease and dirt. They then went up to the
Dean and said that they had gone out to a wedding last night and on
their return the tyre of their car burst and they had to push the car
all the way back and that they were in no condition to appear for the
test.

In what can only be called a Pop/Grunge masterpiece this album was truly ahead of its time and anyone interested in the evolution of music through the mid-1990's should have this in their library.Twice voted as the Greatest Canadian Album of All-Time by Chart Magazine in 1996 and 2005, beating out Neil Young's Harvest and Joni Mitchell's Blue, this album blows me away every time I hear it, even 13 years on. Sloan was signed to Geffen after their fuzzy and chrunchy debut Smeared. After hearing this album, Geffen refused to promote its release in 1994, due to its departure from their previous sound as well as the grunge tastes of the day. This resulted in Sloan ultimately being dropped from Geffen. However, this was obviously short-sighted, given the eventual prominence of this record in the Canadian rock pantheon.Sloan is indeed a talented group, featuring four multi-instrumentalist-songwriter-singers and this record marks their turn towards blending pop harmonies and melodies with gr
Canadian Woman Hits $146K Jackpot Within Weeks of $165K WinLast weekend, a Canadian woman was the second online slots player to hit Slotland.com’s progressive jackpot really big in just a few weeks. Her September 23rd jackpot of $146,761 (€105,840) follows a $165, 318 (€119,610) win by a regular player known as “Newman32” in July.“I usually play the Booster slot because I like the way you can boost your bets. But a friend won a few dollars playing the slot machine called Magic so I decided to give it a try last Sunday,” said this week’s winner. “That machine sure lived up to its name that night, eh?”In a recent player survey, 80% of respondents said the reason they liked slot machines over other online casino games is the jackpots. With a progressive jackpot that gets hit for $150,000 or more quite regularly, it’s no wonder jackpot-lovers flock to Slotland.com.“I know a lot of people think slots players just like slots because they’re easy,” said John Lancel

Rooney didnt get to play. Actually i should have expected Ferguson to stick to fielding his youngsters for this game but i was betting on him to give Rooney a chance at least in the second half to gain some match fitness but apparently that did not materialise. The other 3 players among the BIG FOUR i named did play but well what is there to say about them, sadly none. In the end, 2 goals by Michael Mifsud nicknamed "The Mosquito" in each half dumped the Red Devils out of the competition.Bet lost: SGD18.76
I went to the Horry-Georgetown Home Builder’s Show yesterday. The show runs through Sun, Sep. 22 at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and features the latest oohs and aahs of local home-related service providers. One of the most innovative products I noticed was spray on siding by Texcote– you select your color and spray it over hardiplank, stucco, wood, and never repaint for the life of your home. Sounds like a time/money saver to me.
Another service that caught my attention was Tranzon Auctions. Tranzon conducts residential and commercial real estate auctions all over the U.S. and the Bahamas. With the national market sure to continue hibernating through winter and even the Myrtle Beach market napping, it sounds appealing to have your home sold in less than 6 weeks from original listing. That’s the premise, but not a promise. For a fee, sellers can reserve the bottom price for which they’re willing to sell.
Many times the same story. The people get disappointed with every rejection letter they receive in their mailbox. Or no response from the company.
But you have to be realistic. When you read your own resume, would you hire yourself. That is the basic question. Many people do not read their resume, when they finish it.
HR Recruiters are very busy people. But they have really well trained eyes and they see any mistake at the first sight. You do not have to mention any grammar mistake or misspelling, but they definitely will notice it.
In case, when they receive a lot of resume for a job vacancy, they will tend to select resumes, which are correct as no one wants to send documents with the mistake to the selection process. As the hiring manager can notice the mistake as well.
The advice is really simple. Make proofreading before sending your resume to the company. It does not take much time from you, but it can help you a lot. You can jump over other candidates with mistakes in their resu
Co-branding can be used as a new marketing channel for smaller online companies to promote their products online. But the question remains, has it been effectively executed by smaller online players?

Deep in the back of everyone's mind there's a fear of being buried alive. Even my insanely optimistic and general fearless life is sometimes shaken up by the thought of being trapped in a coffin as they shovel dirt over my miserable existence. What I've never really thought about before that is...will I survive the autopsy?
Apparently at least one person has. Carlos Camejo was declared dead following an car accident in Caracas, Venezuela. Shortly after being officially dead he was taken to the morgue where medical examiners began the procedure. As they proceeded they noticed that he began to bleed, and subsequently attempted to stitch him up to stop the bleeding.
According to Carlos he woke up because the pain was unbearable . I'm not sure if he was referring to the pain of receiving stitches, or the pain of having someone start to cut you up like a pickled frog.
The story does end on a happy note as his grieving wife arrived to identify the body, only to find him in the cor
My husband and I have just returned from Italy on a group tour, organized by a travel agency. We had been promised full board, kosher meals, a week of touring sites of Jewish interest throughout northern Italy and an English/Italian speaking guide. What we got was confusion over return flights and accommodations, no kosher food provided on the charter flights to and from Italy, an Israeli guide whose English was atrocious (and so, one imagines, was his Italian)
The Orioles are being no-hit after eight here at Fenway. How much worse can this get for us? Um, ok - there was the 30-3 game, and now this...So the 30-3 game was worse, but to see two history making events twice in two weeks and in person!!!Wow. I am in awe here, and this is crazy. I don't know if this is dumb luck or I know how to pick games, but man, I don't know what to think anymore...

Natural vitamin E has roughly twice the availability of synthetic vitamin EMost vitamin E supplements contain synthetic alpha-tocopherol, but unlike some other vitamins, synthetic vitamin E is not identical to natural. “Chicago-based consulting firm User Centric, seems to indicate the following: The iPhone’s keyboard is slower than your average phone keypad. How much slower? Roughly 2x as slow, taking study participants almost twice as long to compose messages than it did on other QWERTY-equipped handsets”
Although this could be anti-iPhone propaganda, I do have difficulties myself typing due to my large fingers, and even with the slide to the side method. But this study is said to have some fallacies within it, first they only surveyed 20 people, hardly enough to qualify as a sample, and secondly they were all said to be complete noobs to the keyboard. But how are you iPhoners out there faring in regards to your previous qwerty devices?
