One thing that really bugs me about tech accessories is the cables. Somehow I've managed to buy a phone and camera that both use different sized USB ports so you can't use any generic cable. No, you need the one that came with it which just happens to be black and long and looks like every other cable you own. And don't even get me started on getting out the one cable you need from your laptop bag and instead pulling out every other cable in one big tangled mess. Doesn't make you look organised when trying to set up for a presentation at all. So I'm liking the look of Cable Turtles.

If you can’t see the Resources panel clearly when the current AC layout is so clean, I feel sorry for you for being blind as a bat. You probably would have hated the old layout they had when I first started writing.
When I located that site, it took me about twenty seconds or so to figure out what I needed to click on in order to download the Naruto game. You can use Babel Fish or Google translator if you don’t want to figure out stuff on your own. Otherwise, refrain from spamming my comments area please.

Adding to the growing list of countries who have acknowledged to go green and start conservation on wiser note is Taiwan. Known for being the leader in electronics manufacturing today, Taiwan has taken the initiative in turning to eco-tourism to help boost its conservation concerns today.
There are a lot of green concerns that Taiwan has to address. It is not merely a matter of conservation but preservation as well. They have their own share of endangered species such as the turtles and putting a foot down is the best way to help control this ever popular issue of eco-friendliness today.

This week we finally resumed our Home-school Cooperative; and there was much rejoicing.
During the school year (although the semesters seem to get shorter and shorter) we join with about 150 other home-schooled kids for a day of elective classes. The kids get a chance to learn some things their parents don’t know, and to build some good friendships, while the parents (mostly moms) enjoy considerable fellowship and camaraderie as well. Kathy particularly appreciates the chance to swing by the espresso stand, “since we’re on the way.”
And of course, everyone likes recess.
Our five kids look forward to Co-op with great excitement, and mourn the end of each semester deeply. May 09, 2007 — By Associated Press CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Endangered loggerhead turtles snared by longline fishermen may be inadvertently lured to the hooks because of an attraction to light sticks designed to attract tuna and swordfish, researchers said. Scientists at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill found in lab experiments that young loggerhead turtles will swim toward lights similar to those used by fishermen to attract big fish. "Juvenile turtles are indiscriminate eaters and bite nearly everything small that they encounter," said Ken Lohmann, a UNC biology professor whose expertise is turtle navigation. Lohmann recommended that longline fishermen direct the lights, designed to mimic the nighttime luminescence of squid, toward the bottom of the ocean. Turtles spend most of their time near the surface. "The fish are found at much greater depths," Lohmann said. "If the lights are shaded so that the lights are directed downward, the turtles may not see them." He also

I forgot to mention that I have a turtle tank. I have 2 turtles actually. 2 red-ear slider turtles. I got them probably like 4-5 years ago when I went to Chinatown to eat Dim Sum. I was walking around and saw these tiny turtles for sale and I had to get them. I actually got 4. Then I gave 2 away when they started to get kinda big.
Turtles are like the easiest pets to keep. They always get all excited when you get close to the tank because they are happy to see you..or they are happy to see you b/c you feed them. One time the filter broke and I didn’t get a chance to fix it and yet they were as happy as if the filter was working.
I feed them sparingly to keep them small. My friend has 2 also and feeds them everyday and they’re twice the size of mine. I hope one day to build a pond and give them a permanent home there.

With the release of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film that everyone assures me is the cat’s pajamas, I thought it would be time to take a look back at an ad from the Turtles’ past.
This commercial is mainly for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ van, which in itself is a very cartoony concept. If they were trying to keep a low profile there’s nothing that says, “Hey, look at me!” quite like a giant customized green van with your team name on the front. As a toy this thing is fantastic. It is everything that a kid could want in bringing the cartoon into their Ninja Turtle toy adventures. It’s not too small, and it’s not too big. It’s got some nifty action features. Most importantly, it looks just like the van in the cartoon.

The first year I made candies I only made mocha truffles. The following year saw the addition of classic cream caramel and English toffee. Those three reigned for more than 5 years before I added gianduja truffles and chocolate caramels (I may make these chocolate caramels again, they were good, but my son hated the way they smelled when cooking). Last year saw the introduction of espresso caramels and a second failed batch of maple pecan caramels. This year I was again determined to add another candy to my repertoire.
Discovering the obviousI spent some time looking for another type of candy to make. Although there is a lot you can do with truffles flavor-wise, I finally decided on a peanut caramel. It sounded like a home made pay-day candy bar, except I would be dipping mine in dark chocolate. When it came time to buy nuts for candies at Trader Joes, I suddenly realized I could substitute pecans for the peanuts.
