      Stanton T.90 USB Turntable Review
Stanton T.90 USB Turntable Review: "Whether you’ve got a few boxes of records collecting dust in your basement or you’re an aficionado with a valuable vinyl collection that you’d prefer to keep in as pristine a condition possible, you’ve no doubt wondered whether or not it might be possible to digitize your albums to make them as easy to play, sort and arrange as any of the other music you’ve collected on your computer in the past few years. Fortunately, science has heard your silent pleas, and there are now a few different USB-based turntables out on the market that not only play your records, but let you record them into your computer so you can turn them into whatever type of sound file suits your fancy. The Stanton T.90, the subject of today’s review, makes the same claims to quality as any other USB turntable, and brings a few other interesting features to the table, but we’re interested in the truth, not marketing. Let’s see how the Stanton T.90 stacks up. (Via

iTT USB Turntable with USB Audio Interface
iTT USB Turntable with USB Audio Interface: "Some of us still have vinyl lying around because it hasn't been issued on CD, or, because vinyl, despite its willingness to deterioriate, arguably produces a warmer sound and greater frequency range than CD. But every time you play it, it degrades a little more, and you know someday you'll drop needle to the platter and it'll start crab scratching whether you like it or not. Or, you can get an iTT USB Turntable with USB Audio Interface and dump it straight to your computer in lossless format, and then store the vinyl somewhere climate-controlled and dust-free, like a time capsule. £100. TEAC VPI HR-X - 52 Kilo Designer Turntable
Undoubtedly a turntable reserved for serious audiophiles with cash to burn, the belt drive TEAC VPI HR-X not only looks the business but it comes with an air cushioned 50mm thick platter ensuring that mechanical resistance as well as the impacts of vibration are kept to an absolute minimum – though weighing in at a colossal 52.5kgs we suspect that it would take vibrations measurable via the Richter scale to even remotely affect this colossus. The TEAC VPI HR-X Designer Turntable is due to be released mid June for a cool $90,000.
