Today the World Team tryouts for the AKC team of 12 dogs that will compete at the FCI World Agility Championships, in Helsinki, Finland, heat up.For results, visit the AKC website! Check out this great list of those competing for a chance on the World Team.Sunday starts the third round of competition and the first winner will be chosen from the cumulative scores of three rounds, this individual will automatically be on the world team that will travel to Spain at the end of September. The fourth and fifth round will produce a second cumulative score that will place another individual on the world team. Watch for the exciting news tomorrow on the AKC website.

Well, the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking pretty stinky this year. Lebron James will have a stellar year with a particularly unstellar cast. The rest of the East will catch up. The Celtics look tough and I’m sure the Pistons will right the ship. So what in God’s name would keep Bron Bron on his home court? These ladies of the NBA for starters.
I’ve actually been to a few games at the Garden when Lebron was there. He’s a great talent, there’s no doubt about it, but I caught him at least 3 times socializing with Spike Lee. I’m guessing he’d point his eyes in this direction if she were a Knicks City Dancer.
Focus ladies. Focus. Then do a split, pull your legs back behind your heads, smile, scream, cheer, and look like you mean it damnet.

Today, I went to Oriole Park at Camden Yards and tried out to be a ball boy this afternoon. I’d estimate a crowd of 100 or so people signed up for the opportunity to lead the crowd and snag some grounders during the game. Fans were pumped up to have the opportunity, and while a lot were nervous, everyone was glad to have spent a few hours of their attention to perhaps be chosen to be on other side of the stands – the playing field.Well, I arrived at the ballpark an hour early and spoke with several fans, along with tossed a baseball to warm up and cure our boredom.Anyhow, we got escorted into the stadium and got taken to the lower levels into an auxiliary locker room where we given an orientation, filled out paperwork and were explained how the day would work out.Thereafter, we went in teams of 10 and were taken from the locker room into the tunnel and onto the field.
