A new study conducted by the National Research Panel has concluded that men who drive large trucks, SUVs, and automobiles have smaller genitalia than men who drive small to medium sized vehicles. The Map&Guide Truck Navigator is a navigation solution intended for professionals working in ground transportation industry. The device uses maps of France coming from Navteq that is specific to the trucks including weight and height limitations for bridges and tunnels, as well as roads that are not open to truck traffic such as city centers. The new version of their software will include more recent maps from Navteq, probably dated back to 2nd or 3rd quarter 2007 which will be available from early 2008. Mexican truckers can begin hauling goods over the border into the U.S. as soon as Thursday after a federal appeals court on Friday refused a request from the Teamsters union to block the vehicles. "This is the wrong decision for American working men and women. We believe this program clearly breaks the law. Ontario police are looking for thieves who made off with four tractor trailer loads of beer from a Cobourg parking lot.Police have located three of the four missing trucks, but none of the 12,000 cases of Corona and Corona Extra Light that were on board. The Volvo Group is investing a total of SEK 935 M in an assembly facility for trucks in Russia. The investment is being made to meet increasing demand on the fast-growing markets in Russia and the former countries in the Soviet Union. The new facility will have a capacity of 10,000 Volvo trucks and 5,000 Renault trucks per year. The facility will be located in the city of Kaluga, approximately 200 kilometers southwest of Moscow. National Logistic Cell (NLC) is planning to import about 300 used trucks worth billions of rupees for strengthening its fleet, Daily Times learnt on Friday. Sources said that all duties and taxes on the import of these trucks would be paid. Only five years old trucks would be imported, the sources said. The NLC authorities have argued that this import would help introduce the Euro-3 standardisation in the country, which is a pre-requisite of TIR convention. The said convention was signed in 1975 and later it was amended in September 2004. Implementation of the convention is mandatory for all the UN member countries that are the signatory to the convention. Sources said that presently Pakistan trucking industry was based on almost 600,000 non-Euro-3 trucks, causing havoc to environment and infrastructure. Sources said that the NLC had proposed the import of these trucks to the Planning Division, which yet had not taken any decision in this regard.
