      happy birthday, trish
Today is my wife's birthday. I am madly in love with my wife. She is talented, lovely, creative, funny, and generally speaking a fine specimen of a human being. We met ten years ago, started dating about eight years ago, were married a little over three years ago, and I hope to be celebrating many, many more birthdays with her. Tonight, sadly, I have a church council meeting. So, Trish and I will have to enjoy the birthday dinner tomorrow evening. I've made reservations. It should be great! So, if you get a chance, drop her a note (She's on Facebook.). I love my wife....

      Trish Stratus playing Strip Poker
After beginning her career as a fitness model, Stratus began working for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), which was later renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), in March 2000. Early in her career, she was involved in sexually themed angles, such as managing the team T & A and a storyline affair with Vince McMahon. As Stratus spent more time in the ring, her wrestling skills and popularity strengthened. Because of this, she was a one-time WWE Hardcore Champion, three-time "WWE Babe of the Year" and was proclaimed "Diva of the Decade".

The Leggings Chronicles continue: Lindsay Lohan and the Bronx Shoes “Trish”
Here’s Lindsay Lohan, pantless again, sporting another shade of leggings. Sometimes I wonder if her leggings are crotchless and thus, she never takes them off. Lindsay’s kind of the fashion equivalent of Jim Morrison. Not in that she has sexy rock star style, or talent for that matter, but Jim apparently never [...]

      Introducing Trish
First, let me thank Summer for inviting me to join this amazing group of blogging mothers. I can’t wait to read everyone’s posts, and to contribute my own writing about family and parenting. Second, I thought I’d tell you a little more about myself. I’m a stay-at-home-mother to my son M (almost 5 years old) and daughter J (2.5 years). I also have a husband named Arp. We have a pretty crazy life, one that seems like it is in transition. We realized we were going in the unschooling direction only in the last year or so, so we’re still learning more and more about what that means for us every day. That’s one change. Another is our move as a family toward being more self-sufficient and environmentally responsible. We’ve made a lot of changes in the last year to work towards that goal - making the decision to raise ducks for eggs, joining a CSA, and committing to eating foods that haven’t traveled more than 50 miles from our house (at

BPR's own Phaolo and Ace Field Reporter Trish attended Malan's Sample Sale last week. Malan had lots of news - here is Phaolo's report:He'll be showing this Fall, not sure of the date yet, but he'll let us know ASAP. He said he took Tim's advice and the clothes will be more wearable. He said he'll save the feathers and beads for his private clients. He'll also be showing Menswear. And Mens underwear. He said it'll be a little risque. I asked, can I have tickets? He's coming out with a fragrance. He's closing his little Atelier in September. He'll have a showroom and a new bigger place this fall. He said soon he'll be in U.S. dept store. He's Exec Producing two shows and he's trying to get Amanda Fields to be in one of them. He was a sweetheart.

      Trish the Dish
I really like the concept of putting mascara in a metal tube with a metal wand.  Seems like it stays fresher that way. TRiSH MCEVOY High Volume Mascara has a special wand that helps you get each little lash and build them into big think lashes. The Jet Black color is highly pigmented so you can build full sweeping lashes every time. $26 @ nordstrom.com ~Lisa

Trish's Dish From The Season Four Auditions
BPR Welcomes back Ace Field Reporter Trish, with her "View From the Back of the Line." Thanks again Trish! At the last day of Project Runway's 3 day season 4 auditions in New York City, no one seemed to make it, but no one really seemed to care!I arrived at the Westin Hotel Monday afternoon and went to the end of the line (which wasn't really as long as I expected it to be - maybe because it was the last day?) There were several anxious designers though and I thought I'd introduce myself. I said, "Hey everyone, I am from Blogging Project Runway, so if anyone is interested in the site, I'd love to chat!" Almost immediately I made some new friends!Click here to continue.

Welcome to day two of Top Women in Focus. This series looks at four extremely successful women that each play a key role in todays beauty industry. Today, Trish Lucarino is "in focus"...Trish Lucarino is the president and founder of Principessa. With gorgeously fragrant beauty products and pink signature packaging, they are a hit around the world. When you were a little girl, what did you want to be?A princess? No, seriously I didn't really know what I wanted to be for the longest time. It wasn't until I came up with the idea for Principessa that I felt I finally knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. It is so much fun and never feels like work.Where did the idea for Principessa come from?I have always been a huge beauty product junkie in search of the best products. I thought it would be fun to create them myself. But, it wasn't until I thought of the name that the whole idea came together. My husband is Italian and he called me Principessa plus my girlfriend, sister in law an

      Trish Bayley's background technique
Trish Bayley provided instructions in 'Simply Stamping' Magazine Issue 6 on Textured Alcohol Ink Backgrounds and I thought I would have a go.I used kitchen towel, nylon fruit netting & clear adhesive tape as my background materials. ThePVA was an evo bond type which dried clear and shiny. I had a major problem though with the application of the alcohol inks with the felt pad. For some reason the PVA reacted to make a very sticky surface once the inks had been applied to the surface and the felt pad started to fluff and stick terribly. I resorted to using liberal amounts of Alcohol Blending Solution to try to overcome this and just about managed this. Next time I will use other means of spreading the ink.............not sure what though !!!Anyway I have pics of three finishes I produced. The first included the fruit netting whilst the others just had clear adhesive tape and kitchen paper applied with the PVA.Pic 1 used Cranberry, Wild Plum & Red Pepper Alcohol Inks. Pic 2 Pesto, Espre
