Don't you just hate it when you're assigned with an issue where you have to remove all the whitespaces? Say like changing a password not accepting any whitespaces at the end beggining or in the middle. So removing it anywhere in the string? This little code will...protected string RemoveMiddleWhiteSpaces(string stringParam){ string[] inputString = stringParam.Split(' '); StringBuilder result = new StringBuilder(); foreach (string strings in inputString) { result.Append(strings); } return result.ToString();}If you've any suggestions about optimizing this please do. :D

This is an abstract off the article concerning the state of the American hedge fund industry, Hedge Trimming from The New Yorker. found the article very informative, and decided to do a review of it here for those who do not have the time or easy access to that issue of the magazine. John Cassidy enlightens the casual New Yorker audience with a review of the hedge fund industry. The story entails a former London banker, Harry Kat, who stumbled into the field while pursuing an academic life. What he had observed did not leave much of a morally respectable notion. Privately owned, typical hedge funds operate as financial companies. They generally raise capital off moderately affluent clients, ranging from charitable groups to individuals of high net worth. The business model centers on
I’m going to go on record to state that I find store-bought egg nog to be of the devil. It’s pure evil in a carton, the Beelzebub of beverages. The reason I know this to be true is that I know what real egg nog tastes like, and it is NOT that demon-concocted slime that pours out of festively decorated boxes of false promises each holiday season!
The false promises are all about people being fooled, tempted, entrapped into thinking the contents won’t lead to hellish abuse of one’s tastebuds.
Not only do I know the good side of egg nog, but I know how easy it is to make good egg nog. I only have it once a year, during tree trimming activities, but I enjoy it each year while decorating the tree in Rudolph ornaments.
Honestly, I’ve had that glop that the stores sell, with over-pasteurized whitish liquid that’s over-spiced with nutmeg. The stuff has to be cooked in black cauldrons during animal sacrifices in order to make the eggs safe… but a
Decorating a Christmas tree is a wonderful holiday tradition. It's festive, creative, and a great way to savor holiday memories. Digging out the boxes of decorations and ornaments this time of year brings back great memories of getting together with family and friends over the years. (Like that time in college when we boiled down some BBQ ribs and turned them into reindeer for the tree). I've found some great places to get this year's ornaments! Check them out:As always, Anthropologie has something SUPER cute. Look! Little tiny sweaters for the tree! Sur La Table also has a wonderful selection of glass ornaments with a sense of humor. Fast food never looked so good! TravelSmith sells these beautiful old fashioned globes.
The post yesterday on my so-called "very long list" didn’t exactly seem to impress anyone. Probably because most bloggers are a whole lot better at organizing and preparing things, than I am. But to me 12 artists on a list are a lot, as I normally have no clue what I am going to write about in today’s post(s) when I wake up in the morning. So you could say that improvisation is the keyword for this blog, which probably explains its crappy quality?Time to trim down that list...The list wouldn’t really be completely without some Swedish indie pop act on it – would it? Martin Sörensson, guitarist in bands like Shade Tree, Chesterton and Sidewalk People, has recorded a brand new track called All Right. On vocals he’s assisted by the lovely sounding Cecilia Lundh of whom I know exactly nothing. The track itself has all the usual indie pop trademarks from the lovely melody to the glockenspiel!+ All RightMahogany shares the Ulrich Schnauss remix of their track Supervitesse. It's d

Your tree’s (The tree trunk is on your lot) branches of the tree hang over your neighbor’s lot… what are your responsibilities?
Can the neighbor trim the tree?
Are you required to trim the tree for the neighbor?
I had a client write a crazy clause about tree trimming into a purchase contract (and an attorney review clause too, thank goodness.) The seller did not comply. We were lucky. It turned out what the buyer asked for was illegal.
The “tree trimmer” cleaned out the dead ”stuff” but did not deface the tree or trespass on the neighbor’s property.
I can’t provide details of that transaction because of client confidentiality.
California real estate agent Mary Pope-Handy shared the NOLO (legal website) about tree trimming, maintenance, responsibility, etc. via a real estate forum.

Trimming the Vista Border Here's another one for all you Windows Vista users out there! Windows Vista, by default, has huge borders around all their pages. This was probably done to show off the new transparency, but if you prefer a more slimmed down, minimal approach, you can easily configure this setting to make it a little more reasonable for yourself. Here's an image with the normal window border you are probably used to seeing. More so, the borders look even more ridiculously large if you aren't using the Aero interface. Now, here's a picture of the window border after some of the "padding" has been removed. It's much less wasted space, don't you think?! To make this change on your Vista computer, you'll need to open the classic Appearance Settings dialogue box. To get there, right click on your desktop and choose
I’ve decided to drop two more of the PTR programs I’ve been trying for the last month. They simply aren’t performing well enough in relation to the effort I’m putting into them. I’ll go over each as the reasons for leaving each are somewhat unique.
ValePTR - I joined ValePtr on July 12th, during their prelaunch. Gabriella, the webmistress, is very kind, but apparently new at running such a program as well. I’ve received payment each week as per the terms of the program ($0.02, $0.32, $0.03) and pretty much on time. I’m also expecting another payment this weekend for another penny or two. That’s the upside.
The downside? About half of the time when I click on an email from Vale I get taken to a page telling me that I’ve already visited that advertiser, but inviting me to visit again for free. I don’t join PTR programs to visit advertisers for free. I join PTR programs to get paid fractions of a cent to visit advertise
K fantasizes about having a perfect lawn. That must be some sort of sign that we are officially middle aged.He obsesses so much about the yard and its brown-ness that yesterday while The Mayor and The Rooster napped, he went outside to rake, clip and generally putter about.[I also spent the time productively by conducting scientific experiments to determine which pillow on my bed was the most comfortable.]When The Mayor and The Rooster woke up, they cried for Daddy.[Because I am chopped liver.]K was still outside, so in I went. The sight of me caused a great wailing."No, Mommy! We want Daddy!"Yeah, yeah, yeah.I could hear K's attempts at "lawn whispering" (as William calls it) out back. I pulled up the blinds so the kids could look out and see their father in all his botanical glory.K had picked up the hedge clippers and was looking squint eyed at a bush with four foot sprouts shooting out the top. When he saw The Mayor and The Rooster pressed against the window looking at him, he came a
I usually try to post every other day; however, I had to deviate this weekend because I've been so busy trying to get as much made for the Summer Art Market next weekend. I'm really pushing the envelope and will most likely have my last glaze fire on Friday so that I can have some fresh work for Sunday. On Thursday and Friday, I threw quite a few pieces and continue to handform work everyday. Yesterday, I trimmed all of my work and since I didn't have any photographs of finished work I thought I'd share the trimming process with you. Most of the items that I throw on the wheel have a foot. In fact, I insist on it for the most part. It feels more finished. In fact, if you pick up any ceramic pieces in your own home, you'll notice that there is a foot, or small raised lip on the bottom of your plate, cup, bowl etc. For me, it's an aesthetic decision. Some people don't add feet, and that's perfectly okay too. A woman who I met at the Art Student's league, throws work and
I dun really fancy trimming the claws, coz my cats seem not to like it that much..and I'll usually end up in minor love scratches from my kitties..but no can do !This time around, I'll be sharing some tips for trimming the claws for your feline, as per requested by a member named Marzie though. Thanks for the topic request yea! Here's for you...Firstly, you'll need some basic tools for the trimming and some basic techniques during the trimming.Gently stroke your cat's paws often, getting her used to having her paws held before you attempt trimming. Be sure to reward your cat with a special food treat-one that she receives only during claw trimming or some other grooming procedure-during or immediately after trimming. The best time to trim your cat's claws is when she is relaxed or sleepy. Never try to give a pedicure right after a stressful experience or an energetic round of play. Please!!Your cat should be resting comfortably on your lap, the floor, or a table. Hold a paw in o
When I switched from day shift to night shift last June, I was eager to make a good impression on my new coworkers. I have 10 blueberry bushes in my back yard that are of varying size and productivity. One of the oldest bushes was really producing a huge amount of berries everyday, and I had brought about a quart and a half of berries to work with me that first night. I thought that I could share them with the other nurses. After a couple of hours, I filled a bowl with the fresh berries and put it out at the nurses' station.Would anyone like some blueberries? I asked. They're from my bush.Complete silence for about thirty seconds. Thanks, what else have you got down there? This story illustrates a universal truth: Labor nurses will talk about your bush. But don't think you can find out here what we think and then gussy yourself up before you go into labor to avoid being talked about. Because we don't all agree. I think that the guiding principles of our bush styles, much l
