The books in this trilogy are #1 “Split Infinity”, #2 The Blue Adept and the final “Juxtaposition. Piers Anthony is a mystery to me. I have greatly enjoyed some of his books such as “The Source of Magic” and “If I Pay Thee Not in Gold” with Mercedes Lackey. I just didn’t find any thing to identify with in this trilogy. I didn’t care for the story line or characterizations. I wouldn’t discount him out as an author though. He has written some very entertaining stuff. Last weekend, when the boys and I went to Super Target for a little shopping excursion to get flowers and spend my birthday money, I wanted to get a new videogame. I don't get the chance to play games much anymore, but when I do, I really get into it. So I couldn't just get any game. It had to be something to hold my interest, have tons to do, and something I feel comfortable having around the kids. I also don't have a lot of spending cash, so I made the decision a few years ago never to buy the latest thing. For systems, I will wait until they are at least a few years old and fairly inexpensive or used. This helps not only to save money, but also to steer clear of the always buggy launch titles. This trilogy was the first of Robin Hobb’s work that I have read. It knocked my socks off. I couldn’t believe I had never read any of her work before. She tells a story that grabs you by the shorts and gives you an atomic wedgie. I jumped on the web and tracked down her Farseer Trilogy and loved it just as much. The Tawny Man Trilogy is the third work of hers that I admire. “Alien Earth” was published under Megan Lindholm. I didn’t enjoy it as much as the trilogies. I did find a page on the internet claiming to be her sentiment regarding blogging which she seems to feel is only for those who are not motivated or too lazy to write. As I said, my night with Martina was fun yet uneventful. We hit up Haight Street, drank our faces off, exchanged great stories, put a twenty in the juke box and tore it up. Crysis leads up to Crysis 2 and Crysis 3! According to Crytek boss Cevat Yerli the PC FPS game was always meant to be part of a Crysis Trilogy. In an IRC chat Mr. Yerli said: “The game is designed as a trilogy, so you have two more installments to come and the ending [of Crysis] is planned deliberately. But I cannot answer any more questions here please as we want to keep some surprises for you all.” He also mentioned Crysis’ first patch will be out by the end of November. Heavenly Sword story will not stop after the first part that is going to come out September 12th. It will get sequels. Even the story of the second part is ready. Tam Antoniades, co-founder and Chief Design of Ninja Story told this in an interview today.Nariko, the main character of Heavenly Sword has a sister, Kai. Maybe we will see her instead of Nariko in the second part of the game.
