Transformers Movie Leader Optimus Prime I think that this is a great new toy of optimus primebut i dont think i would be paying the price it is going for now I still thought $40 was wow not cheap but worth it. the megatron toy is not easy to change either so i just leave it in its standing postion. when i try to change it from standing form to truck wow it takes some time even though i have had transformers for a long time. I just leave them in vechicle mode much easier WEll I see nothing wrong with metal toys which were made back in the 80's and now they are all plastic boo. not too bad i suppose.  unfortunately the theater room we were in was packed (not because there were a lot of folks in there, but because it was a very small room), so we had to sit on the third row from the front- blah.  i hate being that close, it hurt my neck and shoulders.  besides that, when you are that close it is hard to see the full screen.  all you see is a part of the screen at a time, and with a movie that moves as fast as the transformers does, it is all the worse. it was a good action movie, very realistic.  the plot was weak and cloudy, but then again so was the original cartoons.  i kind of lost interest after a while, because the action was just extremely intense and non-stop. but i am glad i got to go anyway.  you know, the nachos.

This soundtrack is a passable product, not counting the final two pieces, the techno-driven “Technical Difficulties” by Julien-K and “Transformers Theme” from the band that evidently won the straw contest, Mutemath. Fans may relish the new, synthesizing theme, although it’s unclear who else could listen to it without feeling geekified.

Soundwave he ain't.Heck, a good toy he ain't.I was going to refrain from writing any more about the movie until it premiered, but since this is more about the toys than the movie I figured "what the heck?""Frenzy" is the name given to the pathetic Soundwave wannabe in the upcoming Michael Bay Transformers movie. From what I've heard, he was scripted as Soundwave, while the design was referred to as "Soundbyte" until the name was finalized. But when fans caught wind of this horrible excuse for a Transformer, they revolted and somehow managed to get his name changed to that of one of Soundwave's cassette minions instead.In the movie he will appear as a boombox that turns into a an anorexic four-armed, four-eyed, chicken looking thing that's all of three or four feet tall. No mass shifting in this movie, so that's about as big as he gets. And, oh yeah, he kills people with deadly CDs. It is a bit heavy on the live action and a light on the actual transforming but I am assuming that is because they are still working on many of the effects scenes.
