Created by two dude from Nanjing, the bot is nearly 15 feet tall, and took the duo just about three months to make with parts from a Citroen C2 car. The two creators also mentioned that they are planning to build an even larger Optimus Prime in the future, lets hope it isn’t the americanized Optimus we recently saw on the big screen. The latest buzz in the gadget weblog community is that someone actually created a fully functional transformer out of a Motorola MOTOROKR E6 cellular phone. Fully functional as in it can transform, but I don't think you can make calls on it. It kind of reminds of me of those Transformer toys that would change into robot radios, but the radios would never play. However, the tech is probably there, I think someone really needs to create a cell phone for younger users that transforms. Why not? Until then, the only fully functioning cell phone transformers will only appear in Michael Bay films.

This character is an Autobot, which I believe are the good guys in the up and coming Transformer movie. When this torch is in use the logo of the Autobots is displayed on any suitable surface, providing that there is not much background light around.
Although it is a laser pointer device the distance that the beam will travel is very limited, and will fade away the further the wall or surface is. So it is not exactly the Bat Signal, but good enough for a small device.

This transformer cell phone design, is really cool, but is it a real cell phone or toy? That is the question that needs to be answered, the design is from the Parkoz site, but there are no clues as to whether or not this is real or not.
There is a hint of films gone by in the robot design too, think back and see how many more movie robots you can think of, with the mini guns effect?
