I purchased her 4 years ago when my son was 8 years old. Rain has been ridden Western on many trails. She crosses logs and ditches, goes through water, and rides well with other horses. My son is 12 and getting too big to ride his pony, so we are selling Rain and looking for a new horse. Rain has no vices and is very sound. She loads, clips, bathes, stands to mount, stands for farrier, and shoes easily. Rain loves to be groomed and loved on. She will walk, trot, canter, and gallop from leg cues.  Buck is very well trained. He rides single or double, side passes, opens gates, and has power stearing. He has been trail ridden mostly the past 2 years but was once used as a mounted patrol horse and I have been told he has done some roping. The only reason I am selling him is I tore the ligamnets in my knee and can no longer mount and dismount a horse of his size and was forced to purchase a much smaller ride that is closer to the ground.  This gelding is well started. He has had over 140 days at trainers. He has tracked behind cattle, poned race horses, pulled logs. He will side pass, open gates, cross water. He is very laid back for a young horse. I have found nothing that upsets him. He will make anything you want him to be. Not many like him. Too many horses and very little space is why he is for sale. If I had the room I would keep him.

 Sir Chancelot has been in professional training since Feb. and is well schooled in arena work and has been ridden out in the hills and trails. {summary}I knew this would happen.  I knew that the moment we left home for a few days, Rosco would conveniently forget all about his sleep training. Rosco has been sleep trained for a couple of months for naps and night sleep: I put him in the crib, he closes his eyes, and that’s it - no muss, no fuss.  It took a lot of work to get him there - a lot of tears (from him), a lot of pacing (from us), the reintroduction of the dreaded binky, and the careful attachment of a lovey (a stuffed Piglet). Since we returned on Sunday the kid can’t nap without help, and growing boy that he is he needs that daytime rest.  He’s still sleeping fine at night, so at least I don’t have to fight that battle again. This morning he took a very short nap at around 11 and got up at 11:45.  He hasn’t napped since then, and as I can hear the theme music for Star Trek: Voyager playing in the other room it must be 4 o’clock.  He’s tired, obv
