Bittorrent is facing a small crisis with the loss of Leaseweb for hosting Bittorrent trackers. The major issue with a Bittorrent tracker is that it consumes a very large amount of bandwidth to ensure that all the open peers and seeders for a particular torrent file are maintained and current.
Azureus has a distributed tracker system that helps it work without having a formal tracker to connect to, to grab a torrent file. This in many ways is similar to how the later versions of P2P protocols like eDonkey worked before the MPAA figured out there had to be a central way of connecting peers to other peers. FujiFilm has just recently announced the Tape Tracker which looks like the standard 0.5 inch data tape cartridge but it is actually a GPS system.
This is ideal as it enables data managers to keep track of sensitive information whilst in it in transport and if it has been misplaced/stolen.
Users of this device will have web access so that they will be able to use FujiFind so that they will be able to track several devices at once, whether in transit or in the warehouse. There is no price available yet and they are hoping to release the Tape Tracker in the first quarter of 2008.

its better than wesabe, the online financial one i was using before. wesabe you had to download the file from your bank, then upload the file to wesabe, then code everything. somewhat worth it, but i never had time for it, so i quit using it. this one automatically downloads information for you every night, on not only bank accounts, but credit cards too.

This isn’t going to be a pretty article, but I’m aiming to catch Google’s attention, along with anybody else who got the same problem as me when they installed the Roundup issue tracker, followed the instructions but got redirection problems ending up with urls containing ‘//////////’ and stuff like that.
Firefox catches this issue and displays the warning:
