      Le Tower Bridge
      Le Tower Bridge est un des monuments les plus connus de Londres. C’est le fameux pont levis qui tire son nom de la tour située jute à côté (celle-là même qui contient actuellement les joyaux de la couronne). J’en avais déjà parlé dans un précédent post sur la présentation des images du haut. C’est en fait un pont où les voitures peuvent rouler et qui se lève pour laisser passer les bateaux. Il est notamment connu pour son architecture originale ainsi que pour son système de bascule. Il est situé dans le quartier de “The City”, le fameux quartier des banques. Le pont est assez joli, les tours plutôt grandes (même si on les imagine beaucoup plus grandes) et il y a énormément de touristes. Cela n’empêche pas qu’il vaut le détour.. ne serait-ce que pour la balade le long des quais de la Tamise. Si vous souhaitez en savoir plus, il existe un musée à l’intérieur du pont lui-même.
