Wife talked to me about her mom this morning and then starting crying, saying how much she missed her mom. I immediately knew that she didn’t sleep well last night and that she was in her “I feel touched” stage. In this stage she cries at the drop of a hat, constantly seeks confirmation for the simplest of decisions (she asked my permission to call my 2nd Sister on the phone), and calls and talks to whomever she thinks will listen to her (assuming they are on her good list).
She called my 2nd Sister, my 1st Sister-In-Law, and a Chinese person (I heard her speaking Mandarin when I came home). She probably spent a good 5 hours on the phone. I’m guessing because I was at the local rodeo with the kids. I only have an estimate because my sister and sister-in-law report back to my Fifth Sister when this happens, and Fifth Sister then informs me. It’s quite a runaround, but it’s the only way I find out about most of her conversations.

Tom and Kate came over tonight for a few bevvies and thai takeaway. I couldn’t help it. I ate chicken… But I made up for it by eating some beef so it’s OK. But the fun of the night wasn’t eating the forbidden foods, it was playing tennis on Tom’s Nintendo Wii. I think I’m hooked. I’ve never been into video games, and I don’t see how anyone could justify spending $400 on anything video-game related; but it was pretty impressive! And I swear I almost worked up a sweat.
I’m absolutely buggered. The more sleep I get, the more tired I get! I’ve been having twelve hour sleeps and although I’m loving them, I’m.. I don’t know I just know it’s not good! Now I know how hygienic you all are, how much sleep do you all get every night? Most days I’ll only get like seven… So this is bizarre.

The 2007 Touched By A Star event was hosted in Sterling Heights, Michigan on March 24, and I had the great pleasure of attending. Benefiting the Desi Geestman Foundation to help children and their families battling cancer, attendees were able to dine and mingle with some of day-time television’s top stars, from “General Hospital” and “One Life To Live”. This being my first soap event, I hardly consider myself a die-hard soaper- I stand on the side-lines, not on my soapbox. But I will not lie- I went to the event with an agenda- meet Bradford Anderson! Since his debut on “General Hospital” as the quirky computer hacker Spinelli, aka ‘The Jackal‘, he’s quickly won the hearts and laughter of many viewers, mine included.

The day time traffic has been pretty bad this last week and I find my stress levels are much higher as people are very impatient and expect there to be a short cut for every eventuality. I told several passengers that if they weren’t happy being stuck in traffic that they could always get out and walk. One stroppy git took me up on that but thought I meant he didn’t have to pay the £6 on the meter. It almost came to blows but he backed down. Wise move.
One thing about days is that you can eat whatever you want as everythings open. I went to Alexanders Fish and Chip shop behind Finsbury Square yesterday and had a beef and mushroom pastie and chips with a sausage thrown in for good measure.
