According to Boing Boing, this creative UI is the work of Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs (MERL), Microsoft Research, and the University of Toronto in an obvious attempt to usurp the iPhone’s revolutionism. Yet another Apple patent has been discovered. This one is similar to the one that was found recently for a pressure-sensitive multi-touch trackpad, similar to those currently in use in Apple's MacBook line. Contrary to the last, this one is titled as being a "Force and Location Sensitive Display".
