The soul looketh steadily forwards, creating a world before her, leaving worlds behind her."Ralph Waldo Emerson FRUIT & CHEESE...one of my favourite combinations or magical partners! Hello Mommy Community! Our favorite pizza topping is Buffalo Chicken. The local pizza place in town makes the best buffalo chicken with blue cheese pizza. I was a bit skeptical when I first heard of it, but it is actually outstanding. The kids' favorite is pepperoni and spinach. Somehow Adam snagged a piece of my leftover airport pizza that had spinach in it and he liked it, so all pizza that we make at home must have spinach in it! Wonder how long that's going to last?Photo by Reesie

Last year Bradford did two episodes of Veronica Mars ( Ahoy, Mateys! & Versatile Toppings)I just saw Versatile Toppings again(I saw it when it originally broadcast)It was great to see Bradford in a different role and Veronica Mars just happens to be my favorite show (we will see how long that lasts it is on the chopping block). (you can find out more by seeing the episodes yourself)I really do recommend watching the two episodes (Season Two Disk 2 & 4 Ok I recommend the whole series.---I hunted down some screen shots and found them at http://www.vm-caps.com/ The first one is from Ahoy, Mateys! & the other three are from Versatile Toppingshttp://bradfordanderson.net/
Today the BBC reports:A British climber is in the closing stages of an attempt to set a world record for the highest mobile call.Rod Baber is making final preparations to scale Mount Everest and make the call from its north ridge. What I want to know is whether the pizza place will deliver when he finally makes that call!Someone should tell him that at the time of the tower of Bavel they made a similar attempt to climb to the highest point in the world (and construct the tower that would take them there). They weren't going to make a phone call - they didn't need to, since everyone lived in the same place and spoke the same language - but they wanted to show that their technology was greater than G-d. I hope Mr Baber won't make that mistake, but will realise the wonders of nature and the Creator who made them. It astonishes me that G-d made a human being who is able to live at sea level and is also able to ascend to such heights and breath (just about) and even move around a little
I tried out Sanders Milk Chocolate Caramels and loved them, so I had really high hopes for their dessert toppings. Sanders sent over two jars for sampling: Cinnamon Pear Caramel and Milk Chocolate Hot Fudge. I finally picked up some vanilla ice cream, and to keep the tasting simple, I didn’t add any other toppings. No nuts, no cherries, no sprinkles.
I tried out the Cinnamon Pear Caramel first, dipping a small spoon into the jar and drizzling the topping over my ice cream. Not being a professional, my attempt at drizzling wasn’t very neat, but it did show off how pourable the topping is. I was expecting a harder battle to get the stuff out of the jar. My first spoonful of ice cream and caramel tasted almost like pumpkin pie. I could definitely make out the cinnamon, but the pear flavor isn’t strong at all, just something subtly fruity and sweet underlying everything else. I really loved this on ice cream, and I’m glad I tried it out “plain” first.
