It’s becoming more necessary than innovative or trendy for car makers to release hybrid vehicles of their top sellers, and in the next few years, it’s likely that even more hybrid models will be available. Even BMW uses some hybrid technology, though they don’t call it that, or market it as such.
So what are the top five hybrids currently available?
Here’s our list:
Toyota Prius - it accounts for half of all hybrids sold, even though it wasn’t first on the market (Honda has that honor). It’s also the most aerodynamic of all the hybrids, with only a 0.26 drag co-efficient. Fuel efficiency: 55 mpg (combined).
Honda Civic Hybrid - the Prius’s closest runner up, the Honda is smaller, and not as comfortable inside, or as aerodynamically designed. Still, it averages 50 mpg.
Nissan Altima Hybrid - its only available in eight states right now, which is too bad because not only does it get a respectable 39 mpg, it’s also got a 20-gallon gas tan

It’s the weekend, so I decided to get creative and design a graph displaying the “Top Five Loan Originators” in terms of loan volume for the six months ended June 30, 2007.
As you can see from the graph above, Countrywide nearly doubled the output of second best Wells Fargo Home Mortgage with a whopping $245 billion in loan volume.
While CitiMortgage, Chase Home Finance, and Bank of America Mortgage all settled in around the $100 million mark in terms of loan originations.
Though Countrywide led in loan originations, their volume is up only 2.1% from the previous six months, whereas Wells Fargo Home Mortgage was down 22.5%, and CitiMortgage and Bank of America Mortgage were both up 17.2%.
Chase Home Finance wasn’t in the top five for the previous six months, so comparison data wasn’t available.
Unfortunately, shear loan volume won’t necessarily allow us to predict how these companies will fare in the coming months, as loan type and borrower quality are relatively unknown.

Mmmmm. Sushi in LA is just fabulous! This summer I spent a month there, and one of my goals was trying out as many sushi places as I could. We ended up eating a lot of sushi…
I did go for known favorites, though. I read up in advance on sushi websites like citysearch and chowhound.com to avoid having too much mediocre or just plain bad sushi.
The funny thing was that I went to LA thinking I was mostly into fusion and modern sushi restaurants, while I actually turned out to be quite a traditionalist… Super famous restaurants like “The Hump” did not even make it to my top 5 list… But that might be a different story. H or Spacebar (Hand Tool) - When zoomed in on a small portion of a photo, H brings up the hand tool allowing for quick panning. A faster option is the Spacebar. Hold the Spacebar and the Hand Tool comes up, let go, and the it returns to the last tool used.

Five things to always keep in mind as a photographer.
Always Carry a Camera Absolutely always carry a camera, to the store, to work, to dinner, to family functions, everywhere. You just never know, and there is nothing worse than hearing the words “where’s my my camera when I need it?” come out of your own mouth.
Stop To Make The Picture Never hesitate to stop and make a photograph when the opportunity presents itself. Great photographs and instantaneous and fleeting in nature, chances are you’ll never see it again. So do yourself a favor and stop.
Ignorance Is Bliss So stop looking at that little screen on the back of your camera. It serves absolutely no purpose accept to break your rhythm of shooting. Just keep in mind that while your checking out that little screen, that gives you no accurate indication of exposure or sharpness or depth of field, 10 pictures just blew right past you.

1. Background music
From MIDIs playing on Geocities websites to MP3 Flash players on MySpace profiles, music is A Very Bad Thing to have on webpages, especially when - and most of the time, it is - started automatically. Many people listen to music while they surf, and having that interrupted by a surge of aural pain is generally enough to exit the offending webpage very fast. If someone can’t turn off your intrusive music within three seconds, kiss them goodbye, if they even bothered sticking around that long. Even those who don’t listen to music as they browse the ‘net, don’t want to hear five seconds of your latest favourite emo song on your MySpace pro
