A partir de hoy y despues de que Xbox Live vuelva a funcionar podremos descargarnos del Bazar la demo de Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground el juego que tendra que competir con Skate de EA para ver cual es el mejor titulo de skate para las consolas de nueva generación.
La demo mostrara algunas de las mejoras del juego final como la modificación del entorno o la posibilida de utilizar un editor de video en pleno juego. Todavia no hay fecha para la aparicion de la demo en la PS3.

La batalla del skate virtual este añito 2007 va a estar más reñida que de costumbre. So, here is the trailer for the latest in the long, milked, and over-hyped Tony Hawk franchise, “Tony Hawk’s Proving Grounds”. It’s the basic blend of self-righteous skateboarding diatribe you’ve come to expect from the Tony Hawk franchise,with a mix of live-action and in-game footage. More Live-Action, though.
We do get to see a few shots of a couple of the game’s environments, as well as the skatepark editor that we’ve become accustomed to. Overall, the game looks nice, but if it plays like the other Tony Hawk titles, I’ll be bored with it after ten minutes.

Después de varias partes de la serie Tony Hawks a nadie le coge por sorpresa el tirón que puede provocar un juego de estas características. Sin lugar a dudas este será el estandarte de los juegos deportivos por mucho tiempo, pues la adicción que generan es bastante elevada. Sin embargo, y dada la cultura en la que están inscritos este tipo de entretenimientos juveniles, no te verás muy identificado con el juego si lo tuyo no son el skate y la bici BMX.
