During November Eidos filed an application to trademark the phrase 'Tomb Raider Underworld' with the US Patent and Trademark Office. Could this be the next Tomb Raider installment? Eidos has previously confirmed that it is working on a sequel to Tomb Raider but details for the new game have not yet been revealed.At present the game is rumoured to revolve around the Mayan calendar, with the action taking place during five special days at the end of the calendar called Wayeb, when the line between the mortal world and the Underworld dissolves. Lo peor: el juego.
Descepcionantemente fácil. Como tengo tan poco tiempo pa cualquier cosa, pensé en irme a la segura con una saga de un clásico. El primer Tomb Rider que jugué fue el 2 para mac y en su momento me pareció una maravilla por lo intrincado y meticuloso diseño de las “trampas”, en cambio este último es básicamente un juego para niños.
Muy sencillo de pasar a través de sus etapas. Tiene todo el aire al otro, también viaja ppor todo el mundo y usa escotes y armas aunque he echado de menos algunos movimientos nuevos en el personaje y lamentablemente jugué la versión doblada por españoles, que me disculpen, pero suena fatal el acento.
Agregan momentos de “acción” sencillos que, peor aún, ayudan indicando en pantalla los botones que hay que presionar.
La historia comienza en bolivia y tiene relación con el desaparecimiento de la madre de Lara mezclado con la espada de
Tomb Raider: Anniversary, titolo giá rilasciato per ps2 e PC, adesso arriva in terra xbox 360. Questo significa che chi possiede Tomb Raider Legend, dovrá presto metterlo da parte per il nuovo e adesso ultimo lavoro di Eidos.

The rumors are true - Eidos announced today that Tomb Raider Anniversary will be coming to Xbox360 as downloadable episodic content, with a retail version to follow.
The content will be released as four separate episodes, costing 2400 Microsoft Points in total, and will surprisingly only be available to owners of Tomb Raider Legend. The first two episodes will be available sometime in September with the next two following shortly after them. The retail game will be released later in the year.
While I’m definitely disappointed that we have to wait several months for the 360 version, this announcement makes me a happy camper. I love Tomb Raider and really enjoyed the time I spent on getting the full 1000 Gamerscore for Tomb Raider Legend.

Eidos has just said that the PC demo for Tomb Raider Anniversary will be released tonight at 11PM GMT. Just check your regular download sites such as FilePlanet etc. Also, you can try TRC.
Anniversary is a remake of the original Tomb Raider game and is developed to celebrate 10 years of the Tomb Raider franchise.
A remaking of the first tomb raider game released in 1995, and due June 1st in US, June 5th in Eu, but confined to PS2, PSP, PC, and Wii .

Grandi novità annunciate oggi da GameTap, riguardo Tomb Raider Anniversary e altri importanti titoli in uscita. Come riporta il blog Angled Whiteboards, il titolo sarà disponibile dal 5 Giugno,negli Stati Uniti , senza costi extra per gli iscritti.
Visto che ci siamo vi riporto in basso l’ ultimo trailer, dove vediamo la nostra “rinnovata” Lara alle prese con inestimabili manufatti e incredibili scenari naturali. Lara, oltre a rivisitare i post dei precedenti capitoli, farà un “salto” pure in Egitto, Perù e Grecia, dove è ambientato il trailer che vi ho annunciato.
Il video è riferito al livello St.Francis’ Folly, uno dei più intriganti e difficili del titolo originale.

Eu continuo a achar que a melhor das 7 aventuras da Lara Croft foi a primeira (apesar do TR Legend ter sido muito bom) . Por isso, quando soube que estava em produção um remake do primeiro Tomb Raider, rejubilei de alegria.
Este remake vai servir para comemorar a primeira década de existência de Lara Croft, daí o nome dado á nova aventura: Anniversary. Aqui está um vídeo acabadinho de sair dos estúdios da Eidos:

In questi giorni Eidos ha portato molte novità sul sito dedicato alla saga di Tomb Raider, dove spicca la sezione dedicata al tanto atteso remake Tomb Raider Anniversary.
Come potete vedere è ricco di screenshots, wallpapers e soprattutto un nuovo gameplay trailer (che potete vedere anche in questa pagina). Nella pagina di Aniversary potete trovare lo stesso video ad alta risoluzione e scaricabile anche in versione portatile, per iPod o la PSP.
Ancora indecisioni sulla data di release, infatti sull’ home viene promessa per Maggio, mentre l’etichetta inglese aveva dichiarato che non sarebbe uscito prima dell’ estate 2007…
