Tom Waits is set to play the part of the Devil in Heath Ledger’s final film, The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus.
The film, directed by former Monty Python star Terry Gilliam, also stars Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Christopher Plummer as Doctor Parnassus.

It’s well known that I’m a Tom Waits fan. So in celebration of the announcement of his new tour here’s a live performance by him.
The tour begins at the tail of the Hydra, in Phoenix, continuing up the snake’s body and ending on one of its multiple heads in Atlanta. And to ensure that his new Hydra-tour is received with a maximum amount of puzzlement, he announced very correctly that the first initials of the cities on the tour, listed in Hydra order, spell out the acronym “PEHDTSCKJMBA.”
