Times they are a-changin’ at Southgate Chevrolet
A lot has changed since Southgate Chevrolet opened its doors more than 27 years ago. What used to be surrounding farmland and grain elevators is now a bustling community and multiplex. Now, Southgate Chevrolet is growing, too, with this summer’s dealership-wide expansion. Every aspect of the dealership — located at 15100 Macleod Tr. S. is being updated, says general manager Corey Taill

Other theorists speculate that it is consciousness that collapses the wave function and Chitosan Ephedra Original Stacker 3 creates reality. The Lipodrene With Ephedra separate forms that we see around us are therefore only relatively stable and independent patterns, generated and sustained by a ceaseless underlying movement of enfoldment and unfoldment, with particles constantly dissolving into regressive implicate order and then recrystallizing. A quantum system is represented mathematically by regressive wave function, which is derived from Schrodinger's equation. Furthermore, the uncertainty principle implies that a particle can never be at rest, but is subject to constant fluctuations even when no measurement is taking place, and these fluctuations are assumed to have no causes at all

The Nordstrom's Customer Appreciation Night. I had been looking forward to this for weeks and even selected a "special," super-cute outfit for the event. I had my gift cards, my list of what I wanted to buy, and I was ready for fun, toasting the evening with the girls and a glass of wine. And then things started to go downhill from there. How to save the Airlines (Open Letter to the NY Times)
Dump the male flight attendants. No one wanted them in the first place. Replace all the female flight attendants with good-looking strippers! What the hell -- they don't even serve food anymore, so what's the loss? The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and get a 'party atmosphere' going in the cabin. And, of course, every businessman  in this country would start flying again, hoping to see naked women. Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn't need a salary, thus saving even more money.  I suspect tips would be so good that we could charge the women for working the plane and have them kick back 20% of the tips, including lap dances and 'special services. Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear

Mo'Kelly is getting real tired of the New York Times coming late to the party when it involves major African-American stories. All Mo'Kelly is going to say is 'Told Ya So!'It seems that the New York Times in an editorial that was published today talked about the "questionable" teachings and preachings of John Hagee, who has endorsed Senator John McCain, yet nobody has asked McCain to distance himself from the supposed "hate rhetoric" of Hagee. The Mo'Kelly Report...right once again. And this is NOT the first time that something first broached in The Mo'Kelly Report "mysteriously" found its way into the New York Times. Remember the Juanita Bynum story? Just in case you don't...New York Times - Late on the Juanita Bynum StoryDon't tell Mo'Kelly in all of the internet "research" done by Fr

      Day 62 - Fun times
Having had no alcohol all week, last night we both have wine. Lots of it. Sullen son is out for the evening at a teenagers night club. He returns with a friend close to midnight. Only I'm asleep on the couch, with an empty glass next to me, wearing just my underpants. When I'm fully awake and realise the situation I grab on some pajamas and busy myself by preparing a bed for our unexpected guest. Once I'm sure that Sullen son and friend are settled, I head off to bed, mumbling something about needing to cut down my drinking at the weekend. Its Saturday. Great! The day begins as expected. Both lying in bed wondering if we are waking up to headaches. Nope. Seems okay. Even better. Hazel lists the chores she wants me to do today. I inwardly groan. Its supposed to be a holiday weekend. Not a ch

Bill Gates uses 10,000 times the energy of the average American, MIT says
Time to start the finger-pointing again. A class at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has begun to track the carbon footprint of different lifestyle in different nations. And the picture painted for the U.S. isn’t pretty: Even the most power conscious people in this country use more than twice the energy of the average person around the world. If you are looking for people with the worst carbon footprint, look among the super-rich such as Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey, MIT says. It is common knowledge that energy use in the U.S. has been at obscene levels for decades and that nations around the world aren’t happy with the fact that less than 5% of the world’s population is consuming almost one quarter of the energy available worldwide. Funny Money Friday: A Sign of the Times
This week's Funny Money Friday post is less funny-ha-ha and more funny-to-keep-from-crying. There are a couple apartments on my walk to work that have been on the market for 6+ months. In San Francisco...that's pretty darn rare. I was just commenting on it, when I saw that one of the owners had taken matters into her own hands

Good companies do well also in bad times
Google (GOOG) defied skeptics—and the economic downturn—with a surprisingly strong showing that sent the stock soaring 20% the next day. More than anything, Google's continued prosperity is a testament to its ability to keep innovating, both in search and advertising operations and in new lines such as online office-productivity software. Many companies, says Chief Executive Eric Schmidt, can skirt downturns entirely by coming up with innovations that change the game in their industries—or create new ones. (When asked if Google's strategy would change as the economy heads into a likely recession, he replied: "What recession?") In a recent interview in a tiny meeting room next to his Mountain View (Calif.) office, Schmidt told BusinessWeek Silicon Valley Bureau Chief Robert D. Hof how

      Testing times
The results of the local elections in England and Wales are mostly in and even the most fatalistic of predictions have been proven correct. Labour have lost 300 councillors and control of 8 councils, while the Conservatives have gained 250 councillors and 12 councils. The BBC reports that Labour's national vote share fell to 24 per cent, below the Liberal Democrats and below their 2004 low: BBC research suggests Labour won 24% of votes cast in England and Wales, behind the Tories on 44% and Lib Dems on 25%.Already some Labour ministers are attempting to blame the economic climate and turnout for the result. The claim is that the Conservatives got their vote out while Labour voters stayed at home. In a General Election, more Labour voters could come out to vote, the argument goes. However,

Nazareth District Court on Thursday overruled a decision by the appointed head of the Kafr Kanna local council and granted permission to the Islamic Movement to hold a ceremony marking the "Nakba" (Catastrophe), as many Israeli-Arabs call the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 and the War of Independence.
