The media response to the passing of Tim Russert was extraordinary. The coverage on MSNBC and NBC of course was extensive. Certainly Tim Russert was a member and a leader in the industry but still it surprised me.

Anyone who watched the recent Democratic Presidential Debate saw very clearly that Tim Russert asked fair questions, and it was Hillary Clinton who was filibustering. In the interest of full disclosure, I did not watch the Democrat presidential debate. I can’t bring myself to although it would be quality entertainment. Apparently the debate didn’t go so well for Hillary on a couple of questions. First she took both side of the issue of driver’s licences for illegals ,(which the governor of her state supports) ,within two minutes, and then she became flustered and gave a predictable Clinton answer on the question of her records as first lady being hidden.
She is running on her experience as first lady, yet president Clinton has ordered her records as first lady to be classified until 2012. So Tim Russert asked her why Bill Clinton had signed a paper classifying her time as first lady, to which she gave a response about how it takes time to release all the documents. Russert then pressed her by asking again why Bill Clinton will not let the records be declassified until 2012, she gave the same rambling response.
Now her campa
For years at Indoctrination Universities, liberals have never been pressed to articulate what they really believe. Okay, these political experts need the stop the nonsense. I am watching Meet the Press with Tim Russert on MSNBC right now, and the liberal political "experts" have gone 5-straight minutes bashing Fred Thompson. The following are all the "relevant" topics that they discussed (I could not make any of these up):1) Fred Thompson was too coached in the last debate; 2) Fred Thompson looked old; 3) Fred Thompson looked tired; 4) Saturday Night Live made fun of Fred Thompson; 5) He coughed a few times; 6) He was not like Reagan; 7) He let people down; 8) He knew the name of the Prime Minister of Canada (as if they expected him not to know); 9) John Edwards can get away with being tired, but Fred Thompson cannot; 10) He was not lazy like a Fox; and 11) They talked about how the Republicans argued about meaningless topics. Can anyone imagine five straight minutes attacking Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, or Barack Obama. Of course nobody would expect that. This is another reason why Hillary h
The American people are getting tired of liberal political experts. These pundits are proven wrong time and again, and yet the MSM purports that we should still trust their opinions. We clearly would be better off getting our information from a local palm reader.Well, I had to put up with these preposterous liberal predictions on Tim Russert’s latest show. His guests were Chuck Todd of NBC News and Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post. Evidently, these guys would predict Steven Colbert could win an election if it would get them on television. At the end of this interview, amazingly Russert called them “political inside geniuses.” Well, if you ask me, I would have chosen different adjectives. These two clowns think that Barack Obama and John Edwards still have a chance to win the Presidency. Yet, when they are asked about John McCain, they adamantly said he has no chance of winning. Well, if we take a look at the polls, John McCain has 11.7% support among Republicans, and
I normally like Tim Russert as he, to me anyway, doesn't seem to be the typical journalist with an obvious agenda. In the following video he's blatantly trying to bait John Murtha into lashing out at Vice president Cheney over comments he made recently about the Democrats. Russert asked him this: "How does it feel to be linked with Al-Qaeda by the Vice-President?" I would have to say that Tim Russert is fishing for some headlines from Murtha. In a surprising show of calm Murtha not only didn't take the bait but even down played Cheneys comments saying it was most likely only meant for overseas consumption. I almost hate to say it but kudos to Murtha for taking the high road this time. ~RJH
