A local environmental protection group is attempting to take its concerns about a multimillion-dollar exclusive resort development under construction in southwest New Providence to one of three golf pros behind the development, asserting that in its present form the project is not sustainable and some components should be eliminated.
The Director of ReEarth, Sam Duncombe, is seeking to draw outside attention to the potential problems that the Albany Beach and Golf Resort could pose for The Bahamas and has written a letter to Tiger Woods, one of the partners behind the project.

I must admit as a self confessed golf addict I love golf games - I always have and I probably always will. I even bought a wii mainly for playing golf when it is too wet to get out on the course (I live in the tropics so its wet alot!) So my brother and I still get out for a round even when the course is under 4 feet of water!I thought I would change tact today and bring you a video game review from the latest Tiger Woods series of golf games. I must admit the wii version of Tiger Woods 2007 was good, not great, but good. The realism was fantastic, I even have my dreaded slice in the game! The main problem was the glitch in the game where computer players would jump 4 or 5 shots in one hole in tournament mode, which basically ruined this part of the game. So I was really looking forward to the 2008 version. But I wont spoil it for you enjoy the video review.

For the next five years, Tiger woods will be the face of Gatorade ‘Tiger.’ While no one is winning any awards for creativity as far as the name goes, the television spots are sure to garner attention. Nike just announced the release of two new golf shoes. The first is the Nike Air Zoom Elite, which should retail for around $155, will be worn be most of Nike Golf’s tour staff. The second shoe is the Nike Air Tour TW 8.5 (picture above), which will be what Tiger Woods will be kicking around in in 2008. Tigers’ shoe will retail for $230 and will be available to the public by November 1st.
Earlier today Tiger Woods became the first winner of the FedEx Cup with a personal best 23 under par tournament at the Tour Championship. He was at his absolute best during the event beating Zach Johnson Mark Calcavecchia by a massive 8 strokes. This was Tigers 61st win on the tour and needs only one more win to catch the great Arnold Palmer. Tiger adds the 10 million from the FedEx Cup to his retirement fund and takes home another 1.2 million just for winning the tournament. Having not long got my hands on a Nintendo Wii, I am making it a must-have for “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08” as I love playing golf games and combine that with the interaction of the Wii its going to be cool.
Although many reviewers have said that the 2008 version is only slightly better than the 2007 version, this does not bother me as I do not own the older version of the game (so a must have for first timers).

Tiger turned a hoe into a housewife!
Tiger just recently had a baby daughter, Sam Alexis Woods, with wife, Elin Nordegren.
She was born on June 18, 2007. This is the couples first child from their marriage in 2004.
Tiger had this to say the day that his daughter was born:
“Both Elin and Sam are doing well and resting peacefully. We want to thank our doctors and the hospital staff for all their dedicated and hard work. This is truly a special time in our lives and we look forward to introducing Sam to our family and friends over the next few weeks. We thank everyone for their well wishes and continued respect of our privacy.”
Congrat's to the Wood's family. You better start teaching the kiddo some golf.
