Walt Disney | Silly Symphoies | Symphony | animation | short film | Three Little Pigs | Big Bad Wolf | children | kids | cartoon |Great animated film of the classic story for kids. Two pigs build houses of hay and sticks, and play on their flute and fiddle, all the while scoffing at their brother, building the brick house that takes substantially more work. The wolf comes around and blows their houses down and they run to their brother's brick house, the only house able to withstand all the huffing and puffing. Throughout this clip, they sing the classic song, "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?".Some good and interesting comments from you tube to tell more about the video clip* OMG i watched this all the time when i was really little, we had it on VHS...thanks so much*
One fell off, and then the batteries disappeared so that Mommy wouldn't have to listen to those damn monkeys anymore.Kids' toys. Gotta love 'em.Today has been productive. I have accomplished washing the dishes, watering the plants I collected from my dad's funeral, and laundry is a'launderin'. I've washed the funk off of Amos' little bed, and I cleaned the bathroom sink. I almost had a meal planned, but then we decided that a bag o' shrimp from the 1930s is probably freezer burned. Oh, well. I can't be Martha Stewart every hour of the day.Oh, and I had some business time. Meow! Rawr! Pfft! After a month of living in other peoples' houses and sleeping on weird, hard mattresses or on my all time favorite, the air bed, I am finding myself to be more open to cleaning, fussing, and ge
These are my three little monks collection. They were purchased in Malaysia, during one of the shopping trip. Richard drove a red weekend car during those days and we went to Malaysia to buy Moon Cakes, clothes and car accessories. During one of these shopping trip, I happened to spot these three [...]
When Connor got home from school today, he rushed in the house, dropped everything, and ran back out the door yelling over his shoulder that McGyver had something to show him. Not two beats later, he came running back into the house calling upstairs to me about kittens, and they're so cute and, "Can we keep them, Mom? Can we? Please?"McGyver found three newborn kittens in our garage. He could hear a sound on and off over the past couple of days which made him search periodically. I went out (camera in hand) to have a look. After all, who doesn't like kittens? The orange one is the spunky one. As soon as he/she was taken out of the box, she scurried for cover under the leg of a ladder. In the process, she managed to traipse through some color powder left on the floor from Pongal. A
Western Meadowlark's SilhouetteWell, I had meant to do this post a bit earlier, but with my unexpected trip to Florida - it's happening now instead. The Great Backyard Bird Count is currently underway - it began on the 15th and goes through the 18th. So if you haven't had a chance to get counting, there's still time! This is your chance to help the scientists and to give a representation of the birds in your area. Bird counts can be gathered by anyone - kids, adults, novices, and experts. It can be enjoyed by an individual or a group. It also makes for an excellent family activity and a possible tradition. Bird watching is a great way to experience nature and to get familiar with the avian residents who share our spaces. Kids can certainly benefit from this knowledge, which can help them

Have you ever felt that maybe you aren’t enjoying life as much as you could be? Perhaps you see other people smiling, and laughing, and wonder just what it is that makes them seem so happy. Maybe if you had all the money, and all the time in the world, you would be a happier person too?
I think I’ve got a simple formula for being happy, and getting the most out of your day.
Being happy has a lot to do with doing what’s right for you. You can either pay attention to what makes you happy, and do more of that, or avoid doing the things that make you unhappy. How is that for keeping it simple?
Let’s take a look at some of the every day things that can help you get the most out of life:
Stop inhaling your food. Take the time to really chew, feel, and savor the food that you eat. Take a little longer on your meal. Get the full satisfaction out of it.
Slow down your conversation. I’ve noticed that many people have conver
Once upon a time, there were three little gremlins. They bugged and nagged and harassed their poor tired mother for weeks to please, please, please buy them some pumpkins to carve. They were so sad that everyone else in the 'hood had nifty fall decorations adorning their front porches and they longed to be part of the festivities.
So one night after pretending to be a friendly cashier for 5 1/2
Arundel Elementary School students Hannah Blumen-Green, Amanda Breslauer and Madison Norman helped collect up to 6,000 books to help build libraries in Africa.Since it's been such an awful news week, I found this story about three school girls and their group project to be particularly inspirational. Building a library takes time, effort and a lot of books but three Arundel Elementary School fourth grade students — Hannah Blumen-Green, Amanda Breslauer and Madison Norman — decided to start a community book drive to start one for students in Africa....“When these girls contacted me to arrange a meeting, I was amazed,” African Library Project Founder Chris Bradshaw said in a letter. “We’ve never had a group of kids so young take on the African Library Project by themselves before. After I met with them — without their parents or a teacher — any doubt I had about their ability to handle the project disappeared. In fact, I felt better about the future of the planet. Organ
One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class. She came to the part of the story where the first pig was trying to accumulate the building materials for his home.
She read, "...and so the pig went up to the man with the wheel barrow full of straw and said,
"Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to build my house?"
The teacher
