The best way to follow a conversation is to see it all in one place.
A twitter conversation is split over several time lines, messages are mixed with other conversations. This makes it hard to follow a conversation especially when you follow a lot of people.
With threading you would be able to see all messages in [...]
I was breathing from the bitterness
Looking for hidden truths of life
Thinking that you made each clue was denied,
I wondered… was my life wasted and gone?
My father always told me
“you are the black sheep”
He blamed me for the things
That happened in my life
He don’t remember when he abandoned me…
I was alone, I could not kill remains!

Everyone wants to put threads on a shaft. Of course, there is almost no reason to actually model threads, unless you are CNC machining from the model geometry. There is a middle ground; Cosmetic Threads. In this Video we will re-explore sweeping threads and apply a cosmetic thread as well. Will [...]

I'm sure many of us have heard about complaints of hospital garments being too plain, too uniform-like and at times, uncomfortable. Maybe not first-hand on hearing; but if you've noticed when watching television dramas especially those from Hong Kong and Taiwan, some of these more or less have scenes taken in the hospital, whereby some snobbish patient grumbles about the hospital clothes worn. The
The greatest challenge in writing a multithreaded application is ensuring that the threads work in concert. This is commonly referred to as thread synchronization and includes Ensuring threads access shared objects and data correctly so that they do not cause corruption.
Ensuring threads execute only when they are meant to and cause minimum overhead when they are idle.

I don't have the authority to bring up a news, but after reading two blog entries giving some clues about a reunion concert of the greatest ultraelectromagneticpop band - the Eraserheads. I'm just speculating and guessing that they will be having a concert this year, but there are no official details yet or press release about their come back and reunion concert. So let's just say that it is

Firstly, let us state that in no way do we at Time-to-Run consider Ryan Hall to be on drugs or even tainted by drugs. He is seen by us an example of what can be achieved despite not living in Africa. Our controversial title is directly related to certain forums out there that continually suspect any good performances by athletes from Africa as being drug enhanced. View More Works by This Master This exquisite traditional Korean bamboo blind is made with fine bamboo strips less than 1mm thick, often called ‘bamboo threads,’ which require extraordinary skill to produce. A normal-size blind entails a number of amazing figures: 2,500 bamboo strips; corresponding to approximately 100 bamboo canes; more than 300,000 hand movements; and about three or four months in order to complete one single blind. The Chinese character, “Hui,” meaning “Double Joy,” surrounded by a tortoise motif is exquisitely woven with red threads into the blind. The fine bamboo strips and delicate thread weaving are unique features of Korean bamboo blinds.By using this Korean bamboo screen, a material so magnificently woven that it is often described as bamboo silk, one
The influence of the Illuminati extends to most if not all institutions and corporations. We already know that the Illuminati and the Jesuits are basically one in their concerted efforts to bring about a world communist state. We know this by their founder Adam Weishaupt and his influence on both sides of that coin. And we know that when the Illuminati penned their plans for achieving world domination that education would be one of their primary areas of concentration. Refer to article "Their Protocol for World Domination" section "On Education" to see this protocol. The Illuminati and the Jesuits control the education I believe primarily through their colleges and universities. Since the Jesuits are interwoven in the Roman Catholic religion, they do their dirty work under the cover of

Kiwi Publishing is hosting a Thin Threads Story Collection contest. The publisher defines a thin thread as "a moment that led to a positive change (not a thought through process or decision)." We make decisions on a daily basis. What to wear. What to eat for breakfast. Paper or plastic? Sometimes the decision is impulsive, and the result is life-altering.Months ago, I made the decision to leave my bad marriage and move in with my dad who has dementia. Within twenty-four hours of making that decision, I packed whatever possessions I could fit into my VW. While I had had years of experience taking care of Alzheimer's and dementia patients, I was prepared for what I would face in trying to take care of my dad. It was a daily grieving process. I can't tell you the number of times I sat on the

I’ve always found it helpful to think of a belief system a bit like an item of clothing, like a woolly jumper. If you find a loose thread, you should pull at it. If the jumper is well made and sturdy, the thread will just break off and the clothing will survive with no scars. If the whole thing unravels in your hands, then it was poorly made and you are better off without it. Any belief system that is logically coherent and drawn from solid facts and strong evidence will stand up to scrutiny and criticism. This is why we should always challenge those beliefs we hold dear.
Christianity as a belief system offers a wide variety of loose threads to choose from, and once you start pulling it isn’t long before you’re holding a large pile of tangled, knotted wool, as without form as the universe was in Genesis 1:2.
Take for example, the numerous contradictions and inconsistencies within the Bible. How old was Ahazia when he became king? 2 Kings 8:26 says he was 22, whereas 2 Chro

A fabulous selection of women's clothing and accessories can be found on the site of Maneater Threads, a great on-line boutique showcasing collections from established and up and coming labels such as Art Nouveau, Geren Ford, and Made her Think. Their selection of dresses, which I love love love to wear during the summer, are to-die-for and are perfect for sultry summer nights. Best of all, most can be worn casual or fancy depending on your choice of shoes and accessories. Two of my favorites are this lilac lace tunic by By Francine (a mini-dress for the bold or a tunic for the rest of us), and this silk dress by Candice Held (a bold mix of colors and prints for a modern bohemian look). Plus, starting in July, Maneater Threads will be donating 5% of their sales to a different nonprofit organization, starting with the American Refugee Committee, with an emphasis (but not limited to) women’s issues, international relief, animals, and the environment.
Most people like to think they have free will, and in light of quantum mechanics this may be true. That is, quantum mechanics is probabilistic instead of deterministic, so it is possible that a person's actions are not entirely determined by the previous physical and chemical state of their brain. Assuming we have free will, what exactly are we free to do? Free will is the non-determined selection of an action when presented with a choice. For example, a pedestrian who sees a car driving down a road can 1) wait to cross the road until the car has passed, or 2) hurriedly cross the road ahead of the car. Person X with free will can choose one of these two options and follow through with action. Person Y without free will reacts to the situation based on brain chemistry and deterministically selects one of the options.Regardless of free will, both X and Y have one thing in common: they had no control over their encounter with the car. Free will may provide the ability to choose a cou
The Shoreline Threads exhibition at Artists Harbour running from December 11th 2006 to January 31st 2007 has been curated this year after last year’s successful textile exhibition Threads of Trafalgar and our last maritime exhibition Shorelines. The exhibition is a mix of work from emerging and established textile artists who are both local and national.
Traditionally textile groups in history were a way of women expressing their resistance and lack of power in society, however, the pieces in our show have a calm and tranquil feel to them. Indeed the work is made mainly by women who either run workshop groups or are part of textile groups, however, we have one male artist in the exhibition who has used materials associated with masculine fishing traditions.
Jonathan Polkest’s The Pettyfox in the Isles of Scilly and The PZ87 Rosebud are pieces made of textile and gesso with polyethylene (fishing line) thread. Jonathan states “I take objects and regenerate a contemporar
Black Onyx and Blue Quartz brio ear threads. Wire wrapping a briolette: Well, I've dumped the idea that I was going to come up with my own unique way of making a cool wrap for a brio. I twisted the wires (don't do it), etc.... The best tute I've found is: http://www.oursimplejoys.com/jewelry/articles/howto-crystal-heart-wrap.html at Ruby Bayan's site a while back, the link has been posted on the right. What I do with these is cut about a 3 1/2" piece of 24G HH wire, leave about one inch on one side and the rest on the other (start with 4" and use cheap wire to practice). Then pinch the wires together with your fingers, gliding them from the fat side. Get it as even as possible with the point. I use my nails to pinch them together. Use a 4mm bead with a hole big enough for the two wires. Cut the shorter side so that your 4mm bead hides it. I then put a 2mm bead to top off the bigger hole in the 4mm bead. Then wire wrap it tight.
I bought the new issue today intrigued by the cover. I dropped my subscription a couple of years ago.
I've had the flu this week, so maybe I'm missing something...but in the article on draping that skirt with all the darts...where is the opening left to get in and out of it? I assumed it was the cf,but the picture shown looks like they stitched that down into a dart.
The part about just finishing the edge with the ribbon also seems to miss mentioning an opening.
Maybe I should re-read this when it's not so late, but now I'm not going to be able to sleep for thinking about this. If I had more time this weekend I'd mess with it, but alas, I don't and had hoped to whip this up in an afternoon.Last post by RuthieK at Sat 08 Dec 2007 11:47:11 AM Total posts: 4
Some help with pattern sizing -- When sewing with patterns from some American companies, like Vogue, McCall's, Butterick, and Simplicity, use your high bust measurement (above the bust at the underarm, straight around the back) when selecting pattern size. These companies tend to include extra ease across the upper body, and it's harder to alter the neck, shoulders, and upper chest than to add ease at the side seams of a smaller pattern to fit the bust and hip. Use your full bust and hip measurements when adjusting the pattern.
