Global warming may be coming back with a vengeance, as it appears that because plants do not drink so much water, means that the rain water and other sources such as under ground water stores will not be depleted as fast.
In the long term the effect of this could be very serious indeed, because if this continues the water levels will build until there is nowhere else for the water to go, this could mean more and more floods.

Lately I have found myself drinking glass after glass of cold water. Unfortunately I prefer the bubbly kind so it isn’t as satisfying as it could be. I can’t tell if it’s the hot weather or the food I’m eating, but I’ve only been this consistently thirsty once before - when I was visiting Alex’s parents in Colorado. I think it was pretty dry up there near the Rockies, so I’m not really sure why I’m so thirsty lately.
