      Thievery
At this site, right on the home page, there is a published “review” with images and text stolen directly from The Opinionated Parent and claimed for their own. (Look for Speckles & Weeds about 3/4 of the way down.) See the same thing here? It’s bad enough that they can’t write their own blurb about [...]

      Pecan Thievery in Georgia!
Pecans from *my* backyard :-)My mom brought this to my attention today: Apparently this year, pecan theft has become a major problem across the state of Georgia. Oddly enough, no one has stolen my pecans (see above photo). However, there are some interesting(ish) articles on the topic of pecan theft:Police, farmers step up pecan theft, prosecution, punishmentPecan thieves be forewarned: you will be arrested in GeorgiaSo, whose pecans are they?Pecan thefts rise in South Georgia

Thievery Corporation - Rare Tracks
Artist: Thievery CorporationAlbum: Rare TracksYear: 2001Genre: Downtempo, Trip-Hop Description: I always loved Thievery Corp. In fact, the first downtempo CD I bought was their Mirror Conspiracy, which is an amazing CD and a must-have for everyone who likes downtempo. Rare Tracks is a dreamy affair, featuring some really cool remixes, a great selection. Download: filefactory, rapidshare password: egersin.blogspot.com

Thievery Corporation - Mirror Conspiracy (Mp3 Download)
Review by John Bush @ allmusic.comLike their debut album, Thievery Corporation's second, The Mirror Conspiracy, is a pleasant album of sublime mid-tempo trip-hop, reminiscent of easy listening groove music, and continually referencing the breezier, atmospheric side of Brazilian, Jamaican, French, and Indian forms. The nocturnal dub-poetry of "Treasures" sets a tone for the bruising basslines and echoey keys throughout the album, and "Lebanese Blonde" is another early highlight, with the graceful vocalese of Pam Bricker framing live sitar by Rob Myers and a Jamaican-style horn section. Brazil represents with a triple-shot of "Air Batucada," "So Com Voce" (with vocals from Bebel Gilberto), and "Samba Tranquille." French chanteuse Lou Lou adds a bit of downtempo continental flair on "Le Monde" and "Shadows of Ourselves," and Thievery Corporation even samples Ella Fitzgerald on the ambient-jungle closer "Tomorrow." As on their first LP, Garza and Hilton occasionall

Is it Incompetence or Outright Thievery?
So it seems the man of the hour that can save Pampanga from the thieving vultures was indeed true. “Amang” Gov. Panlilio collected P11.6 Million in quarry taxes in a span of 10 days compared to the past administratong errrr administration’s P29.1 Million for the whole of 2006. Is this a case of incompetence or outright thievery, well your guess is as good as mine. Yikes now what in the name of

      Review of Carlos Mencia Thievery
Ok, this may be more of a rant than a review, but whatthehell. It also is apparently very old news, but it's new to me, so bear with me. I considered whether or not to even write about this, but you know, the internet has stretched and shaped lives, and news, pretty consistently in the last few years. Ten years ago, if something like this went down, it could have been covered up, ignored, and blown over. Today, however, with blogs like this one and a million messages flying through interspace, you just can't keep a lid on things the way you used to be able to. This is good. This is free speech. This is the (however undignified and petty) American Way. So I'm doing my little bit here in the blogosphere to try to overthrow The Man in Media. Hehehe. Plus, it really pisses me off. Besides, it was this or me doing a write-up on Anna Nicole's life. You don't want me to do that, do you? HMMM? DO YOU? I didn't think so. Carlos Mencia. I used to think he was funny. I would hav
