A friend of ours told us about a musician, Nancy Simmonds who writes songs for dog breeds - really! Last night, I’m watching a special Christmas variety show of ABS-CBN. One of the number of the show was a song from the group of Ryan Cayabyab. I’ve heard the song again. The last time I’ve heard this was when I was in high school and sang by a group called SMOKEY MOUTAIN. The song was PARAISO (Paradise). This was written by Mr. Ryan Cayabyab. It’s lyrics describes about the Paradise Philippines, the real face of the Philippines. The song is perfectly written and promotes a better place to live for everyone in the Philippines. The lyric goes like this:

Deputy Mayor Dwaine Caraway has taken “a little detour into law enforcement work — fashion police.” As mentioned here yesterday, the city of Dallas has been advertising around town exhorting kids (in incomprehensible English) to pull their pants up. Meanwhile, homelessness is on the rise.
Caraway met up with rapper Dewayne Brown (aka Dooney Da’ Priest) and the lovely anthem you’re listening to was born. I particularly like how Brown appeals to young black homophobia to make his point. Here’s the song’s hook:

Faith Hill is going to sing NBC’s theme song for Sunday Night Football this season. The country music song is “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” and it will be played before each game. The song is sung each season.
She’s enthusiastic about the gig as she loves football and so does her husband Tim McGraw. At their house, life is scheduled around football games. They are fans of the Tennessee Titans.
Hill has sold 30 million records worldwide. Her hits include “This Kiss,” “Breathe” and “Mississippi Girl.” She has already recorded the theme song already but each version is slightly different. She puts in the names of the teams that are playing. She also shot a video to go with the songs.
As I mentioned earlier, she’s also singing for a pre-game show for th eNFL on Sept. 6 in Indianapolis. John Mellencamp and Kelly Clarkson will also be performing.

Most of us start out life hearing our mother’s sing to us. I put my son to sleep with headphones on every night. He listens to stories and music to help him slow down and fall asleep. Music can even improve your health.
We all have tension from our daily lives both at home and at work. Just listening to music deliberately can help. For example, I met with my business partner this week. He usually has a theme song for however he’s feeling. This week it was Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day. Not a good sign. However, fitting given that we’re both single and not really looking. Somehow naming what we were feeling through song helped us feel better about it.
