We're not too far off from the Sept. 6 kickoff of a brand new football season. As such, The Jaunt will be taking this opportunity to present team-by-team capsules which delve into rich (and not so rich) history, team culture (perceived and fo' real) and the future as viewed by The Jaunt editors and other contributors who have about the same expertise as any other media members pretending to know what will unfold during the upcoming season. LP Field follows a simple symmetrical design with three tier seating on each sideline and short lower level seating sections behind each
Rotoworld is reporting that Chris Brown is likely to be named the starting running back for the Tennessee Titans.Chris Brown had respectable fantasy football numbers a couple of years ago for the Titans. If he does start, he could be a great player to have deep on your bench. The Tennessee Titans' raccoon mascot T-Rac is upset. And no, it isn't about Pacman Jones.Yesterday quarterback Adrian McPherson of the Arena Football League's Austin Wranglers threw for 205 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for another score.McPherson is a plaintiff in a lawsuit against the Tennessee Titans for an accident that occurred during the preseason. While warming up for the second half T-Rac, behind the wheel of his 'chariot', ran over McPherson bruising his knee. The Saints cut McPherson several weeks later ending his NFL career.McPherson, certainly no stranger to the legal system, is seeking $5 million in compensatory damages and $15 million in punitive damages. At the time McPherson was behind backups Jamie Martin and Todd Bouman, who was also released, on the depth chart.A $20 million dollar payday might be a stretch given no surgery was required and McPherson, who had a successful run the AFL prior to being draft by the Saints, is clearly back to form.Related:Wranglers
