I need another television show to watch like a hole in the head and yet, I just can’t help myself.
I have just discovered the show, Pushing Daisies, and I have just one question: Where the freak have I been? It is fabulous. Thank goodness there are only 2 seasons thus far because the last time I reacted to a show like this was last year with The Gilmore Girls. I spent 3 weeks doing nothing but watching [...]

Baghdad Nights television show begins in Iraq
Iraqi women enjoying a party while the men watch football (I guess). BAGHDAD - Taking advantage of a dramatic drop in car bombings and sectarian murders, Baghdad residents are once again venturing out to local markets and restaurants after dark in many parts of the city. They're celebrating weddings and birthdays in public places and eating grilled carp on the Tigris River late into the night. A local television station has begun a feature called "Baghdad Nights," showing the capital's residents shopping, eating and socializing after the sun has set -- a sight... rest of story

Pirates of the Caribbean Television Show
Rumors are running that there may be plans for a Pirates of the Caribbean Television Show.  The idea would be to showcase a younger Captain Jack Sparrow (how original). It looks as if Disney may be driving Pirates into the ground.  This seems to be the typical move when they have something that is a hit.  They exploit it to the point of where the consumer gets sick of it.  I guess this is good for the short term, but I would think that you could get more money over a longer period of time if you don’t make the consumer tired of the product. I guess you could call this the “Who wants to be a Millionaire Effect”. I’m not so sure that a television show would be able to live up to the expectations set forth by the film (set and story).  Although there are some shows on right now that look to have a very high production value (Lost, Heroes).  Unless you have Johnny Depp, I can’t see how any actor would be able to be successful in that role.  They would c

      My Television Show Concept
Everyone that writes comedy or humor has something cooking in their brain for television or the big screen. Howard Stern had his pay per view specials. The old New Year’s Eve ones were classics. Bobcat Goldthwait had his sitcom about a puppet only one person can hear. I really think that one was some kind of metaphor for masturbation but I have a twisted and devious mind. If you think I am exaggerating about that fact then strap in. My concept is a reality show in the hidden-camera genre, niche, whatever. Most of these are always either played on a celebrity or a few ‘average Joes’. Many of them also involve some kind of funny gag that everyone but the target is in on. I want to try a different approach. 'The Cringe' is a hidden camera show where instead of a joke or a gag, the attempt is made to make the situation uncomfortable and awkward. Not only that but the ‘joke’ if you will, is played on a group of people, like at least 20-30. Watching a person react to a pr

Hamas Martyrs Mickey Mouse on Children’s Television Show
I first wrote about Hamas using Mickey Mouse to promote Jihad to children here. You will find a link to watch the video there. As disturbing as this is, the final episode of this season is even worse. This season ended by having the Mickey Mouse character beaten to death by an Israeli official. The episode depicted the Israeli trying to purchase Micky Mouse’s land. Mickey then calls the Israeli a terrorist. Mickey was then martyred. You can read the full story here. This is so disturbing I am at a loss for words. To teach such hatred to children is incomprehensible to me. Meanwhile in this country our children are being taught that it is okay for Bobby to have to mommies, and that global warming is the biggest threat to our country. The left believes that George W Bush is the world’s biggest terrorist. He is the true enemy of the left. How are we supposed to deal with the terrorists when they are teaching their children to hate us at such an early age, while our children ar
