I've had someone mention that they were having trouble seeing my site, is anyone else experiencing technical issues with my blog?

For the past few days, they've been doing work on the internet connection on my block. To insure that they are not disturbing as many customers as possible, they've restricted their repairs to the wee hours of the morning. However, due to the fact that I'm at work for a good majority of the day and early evening, the only time I have to update my blog is in the wee hours of the morning. And
I'm having some issues this morning.First, if you're using Internet Explorer, you may get a prompt on this site or on Humor-Blogs.com asking you if you want to install some Remote Data Services Data Control plug-in. Do NOT say yes. I don't know what that is or why it's trying to install itself. I'm looking into it and will give you more information when I can.Second, if you're using Firefox, you may notice that the background turns black partway down the page, making it difficult to read the black text. Not sure why this is happening either, or if it's related to the other issue. It looks fine when I preview the template in Blogger, but when I publish it, it goes all funky.I hope to be back in a few hours with an update. I've got a caption contest pic ready to go as soon as I get all
Dear Reader,
You aren’t being ignored, any of you who might have stopped in to read or comment here in the past few days.
But, I am having trouble getting in to view my blog myself, weird as that...

John arrived home late Sunday night - soon after, he fell ill. VERY ill.
It seems John brought a friend home off the road with him - YAY!
Have I mentioned that I’m not the best at hospitality? Well, I’m not. I’m socially retarded in so many ways, and that is one of them. And when the guest [...]
My…computer…it isn’t…quite working. Now I’m stuck with this dumb laptop. And because of that, it’s actually been hard to get on Club Penguin. But anyway, there’s some newwwwwww stuff happening!
First of all, Aunt Arctic is now the editor of The Penguin Times. So I reckon there will be some new stuff added to the newspaper. [...]
For those of you who missed the fiasco of the acid green blog, consider yourselves very lucky. For those of you who saw...Sorry. Hope your vision corrects itself soon. That was yucky!!
I'm not sure this was what I had in mind, but it'll do for now.
Until I find something postable (is that a word? Spell Check says, "No!") Try this:

Apologies to all those that connected in the last four hours.
Either a bug in Wordpress or host troubles or a pseudo-hacker attack are undermining the Event Manager Blog.
We’ll survive.
In the meanwhile you won’t be able to get some pictures, but 100% of the content should be there and links should be working.
Apologies for the inconveniences.

I am having problems with my charts tonight. It is missing all data from Wednesday’s trading, so I will not be able to complete the blog tonight, but I will be back up as soon as I can.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Apparently, this site has been experiencing some very annoying technical problems - and completely unbeknownst to me. Fortunately, someone was gracious enough to alert me to the existence of the problems.
I’m currently working to get things fixed, so I’ve temporarily got a default site theme set up. I’ll be getting things back to how they should be [...]
I seem to be experiencing some technical difficulties. I recently found out there are problems with the links to this blog. From what I could gather, it looks like you will not be able access posts, which means my contact page too. Sorry about that. Earlier in the day, not even I could gain access to my own blog. I will try to get this fix before the end of the week.

Perpetual motion is one of the archetypal crank inventions, right up there with the fountain of youth and squaring the circle. Countless crank inventors have popped up and disappeared again over the years, presenting one "revolutionary" technology after another, and promising limitless free energy for everyone - yet somehow, for some strange reason, the technology itself never seems to quite materialize. Here's the latest example:
Dublin-based Steorn claims to have developed free energy technology called Orbo which could power everything from vehicles to mobile phones.
Steorn planned to show Orbo at an exhibition today at the Kinetica Museum in London. However this has been delayed due to "technical difficulties". A statement on their website blames "intense heat from the camera lighting".
How original. This is on the level of the psychic who blames "negative vibrations" from skeptics for the continual failure of his amazing powers. What possible use could there be for a technology
Dear Bump Blog Readers,This is to inform you that we've been undergoing some technical issues with our blog within the past few days. You may or may not have seen some posts show up and then disappear lately...this is due to our blog host not us. We are trying to resolve the issue asap. Hopefully we will be back up to speed soon. If you frequent this site and have not seen any problems with it, ignore this message and keep blogging! If this problem continues on our side, the blog may be down for a day or so while we transfer to another blogging host. Let's hope this doesn't happen!!-Bump Blog Staff
We apologize for the technical difficulties experienced on today's Elle Word Show. The chatroom was unable to load on some browsers and we had a number of people listening to the show on their telephone and not through their Media Player. And, one of our guests (Pumkin) failed to show but that just means we don't have to restock the bar in the 'Green Room' because you know hwo celebrities can be, lmao. The good news is that Saaphyri called-in as expected and brought the house down. She was so witty, funny and charming that I feel really bad for all the nasty things I said about her. I totally get now what people were saying to me and it's now obvious why she is the favorite contestant of most fans of Charm School.(Becky, I'll send you an apology too, if you're reading)And there's more good news; if you missed the show you can listen to it as many times as you like by using the player in the left column of this website, or you can go directly to The Elle Word. Thanks to Elle and he
My computer died yesterday and I had to re-install Windows. Right now I’m going through the hurtful process of installing all the programs and adjusting all the settings to the way I like them to be. Thankfully, all my music was backed up on my external hard drive so I didn’t really lose anything important, except for all my bookmarks and feeds. It will take me a couple of days to get back on top of things so in the meanwhile, visit other awesome music blogs.

After a bit of a rocky start, the technical difficulties at Blogging Basics 101 appear to be hammered out (we're crossing our fingers and toes and eyes and knees and elbows). Going "live" always brings out a few unforeseen bugs, unfortunately. But now the RSS feed is up and running, so please go add us to your list. And if you don't know what an RSS feed is, well then, by George, I'd say that just shows that you need this site (it will be an addressed topic, very soon)!
Thanks for your patience.
Mental Note:
Instead of hosting your website on your own homemade server, pay people who know what they are doing to handle it. If you’ve been wondering where I was and why you haven’t found my site, all I can say is that my website and posts have gone to a better place. A place I like to call the server in the sky.
Somehow, in my infinite wisdom, I was able to screw up the computer that was hosting my website. Since this server is now beyond repair, I have decided to host my site through a real web hosting company. Without further adieu, I introduce to you the New and Improved, MnTwinsTalk!
More posts to come…
******UPDATE*******
Mark at Wordpress has already replied to my email (LESS than ten hours after I sent it!!)
The problem seems to have been fixed, and I haven’t lost any of my stats.
WOO HOO for WORDPRESS!!!! WordPress ROCKS!
Thank you again, Mark!

Yeah, those were a pain in the butt. We had some major server failure that required a ton of hard work by the tech folks here at the site. I was annoyed and my staff was stressed out.
"How will I meet my deadlines, Shawn?"
