Wasabi Girl Throws A Tea Party
She decides to put on her pioneer costume from her 4th grade living history project [I made it]. She decides this will be a Raggedy Ann tea party so she gets her Raggedy Ann [I made Raggedy Ann too]. She remembers that pioneers didn't smile in pictures, so she pulls a straight face for my camera. Maybe this is all influenced by the Laura Ingalls Wilder books we're reading. She spreads out her

      Women's Tea Party
The Women's Tea Party, I attended last night was great. It was fun, though some of the women were there wasn't really closed to my age, so I thought probably there's only 2 or 3 of us were there. And some were just older womens. But anyhow, it was fun, I had a great time, spending it with my sister in laws and mother in law, aunts and some friends. We never went to this Church though, we're just being invited by my sister in law whom lived on that area of Marysville, Michigan. It was quite too far from us, approximately about 45 hours. these are my compliments a tea cup and some tea and a candle I got from a silent auctionThe party was good. We had so much fun, we had games, silent auction and more, of course, snacks! I got a candle from the auction and it was Vanilla.. hmmm....it has

      Tea Party
When I was a toddler, someone gave me a little Tea Set as a gift, and it was one of my favorite toys. My father was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought him a little cup of tea, which was just water, of course. After several cups of tea and [...]

Research Into The Amount Of Tea Tax Inspiring Boston Tea Party
On Saturday I posted a first hand account of the Boston Tea Party written by George Hewes, an impoverished colonial cobbler and member of the Sons of Liberty. In that article I stated that it was a 3% tax on tea that inspired the famous Boston Tea Party. Sara left the following comment- Aahz, I totally agree on the apathy of citizens about paying INTOLERABLE taxes….In my younger days, I stood out in front of the Post Office on April 15, trying to educate people on the illegality of the income tax…I was actually told I wasn't PATRIOTIC!!…Thanks for the 3% tea tax figure; I've spent hours trying to find out just what was the intolerable tax (I thought I learned in school it was 10%) but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet (ONE person claimed it was 1%, but he didn't seem too verifiable)….I've gone through all my books about and by the founding fathers and can't find it….Did I just imagine an "intolerable tax" or was it referring strictly

Ron Paul Song Released by Camelot Castle, England-To Celebrate Boston Tea Party
Ron Paul’s message of freedom is inspiring hope internationally. Camelot Castle in England releases a song today - Inner Truth - and a statement that shows just how far the Ron Paul support is traveling and the broad international support for his Boston Tea Party. (PRWEB) December 16, 2007 — It may seem ironic that England is celebrating the Boston Tea Party today but freedom and hope for the world can bring about extraordinary changes. Camelot Castle in England has released a song today in support of Ron Paul and his campaign to become the next president of the United States. The Song “Inner Truth” and its YouTube clip reached the number one spot on YouTube in the UK the first day of its release on the Internet and is now rising in the international charts. This powerful song can now be heard and the clip seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQpeldFJG_Y In the words of one Ron Paul supporter on U Tube. “First time I cried in God knows when” The m

Ron Paul Tea Party 2007 is Finally Here
Today is Money Bomb day 2 for Ron Paul. On November 5th Ron Paul raised over $4 million dollars in one day. Today he is shooting for $7 million in one day. I've found a good video that is a little over the top in begging for donations, but it has a lot of clips of Ron Paul's increased media attention over the last month, along with clips of Ron Paul saying common sense things at the debates while Rudy Giuliani and others act like he is speaking a foreign language. It's worth watching just to see Giuliani's reaction when Ron Paul mentions the government is still planning on National ID cards. Giuliani reacts as if Ron Paul just announced Chewbacca as his running mate.

Ron Paul Tea Party Today !
Over $3 million dollars raised so far...as of 2:45PM EST ! Even though I get laid off from my job in 2 days, I still managed to donate $50 to help the Ron Paul Revolution!I wish it could have been more, but maybe in a week or two, I can come up with a bit more.Ron Paul is the only candidate for President who will protect the constitutional rights of the American people, end the Iraq war now, and restore America's prestige in the world.

First Hand Account of The Boston Tea Party
George Hewes was a member of the band of “Indians” that boarded the tea ships on December 16, 1773. His recollection of the event was published some years later. We’ll join his story as the group makes its way to the tea-laden ships- “It was now evening, and I immediately dressed myself in the costume of an Indian, equipped with a small hatchet, which I and my associates denominated the tomahawk, with which, and a club, after having painted my face and hands with coal dust in the shop of a blacksmith, I repaired to Griffin’s wharf, where the ships lay that contained the tea. When I first appeared in the street after being thus disguised, I fell in with many who were dressed, equipped and painted as I was, and who fell in with me and marched in order to the place of our destination. When we arrived at the wharf, there were three of our number who assumed an authority to direct our operations, to which we readily submitted. They divided us into three partie

      Tea Party Thursday
With the arrival of Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Francine came new toys, and better yet, new playmates.  Maya talked Aunt Francine into having the world's greatest tea party: First Maya, Mommy and Aunt Francine made chocolate covered pretzels...  Demetrius didn't really want to make chocolate covered pretzel sticks...he'd rather watch a Batman video with Uncle Jimmy Maya even made a goody bag for Buddy (Buddy was confused about why the dog food was covered by plastic).  He licked it, and then ignored it, even though Maya wanted him to eat at the same time we had the tea party Once we got going, we had to put on princess tiaras for the party (Buddy decided to just lick himself in the background) So handsome with my tiara.... I always said Kim was a princess... But no princess comes close to being as cute as this one.... Demetrius didn't attend the tea party....Batman movie rates higher than tiaras.  However, he didn't mind eating the treats...

A Tea Party With No Tea
Most Sundays you can find me pouring wine in the tasting room up on the mountain, dressed in Fogarty attire. This past Sunday, however, I got to put on my new red & white dress and sit down at a tea party with a group of lovely ladies. The weather was just right outside The Villa, with a cool breeze moving through our hair and the flowers on the table. The butler (who also doubles as Fogarty’s cellar rat) promptly filled my glass with sparkling wine, as we passed around the goodies. There were heart-shaped scones with raspberry jam, crab dip filled phyllo cups, a tower of cupcakes and tarts, and my favorite: little cucumber sandwiches with salmon mousse (which went especially well with the bubbly). I brought some of the TF Pinot Gris (sold out now, sadly), which went quite nicely with the almond chicken salad sandwiches. Later we exchanged wrapped tea cups, about which I know nothing, though some of the other ladies were ooooing and ahhhhhing over Paragons and a Shelley

You’re invited to a tea party.
At least once or twice a day, all my kids play together peacefully, and there’s no fighting or crying or whining - I had to document this in pictures! More fun with play food can be found here. Cute kids I made, huh?

Hiliary Runs-- Do not expect a Tea Party
Irrespective of Hiliary Clinton's detractors, her statement " I am in to win" has already garnered the conversations she was hoping for. She is no dark horse in this race and probabilities are good despite high negatives that she could emerge America's next President. She will be tough, passionate and skillfull, do not expect a tea party. She wins however, irrespective of the final outcome. Because realistically, everyone is talking about her candidacy; those who love her and those who hate her. Why? Such a move from a former first lady is historical and generates a sea change in politics for women, globally. Her coat tails will extend well beyond 2008. She however looks to join the ranks of Prime Minister Portia Simpson-Miller of Jamaica, Angela Merkel, chancellor of Germany, Michelle Bachelet president of Chile, and Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf of Liberia. Who would think that the world's greatest democracy would still be looking to get its first female head of state. Of course that she w
