I am a sucker for cheek stains. Having oily skin means I often struggle with powders fading or turning colors on me. Gel and stains have always been my best bet. I've tried Tarte Cheek Stains but they didn't win me over. The sticky texture was hard to wear with mineral foundation. Also none of the colors looked natural on me. A birthday cake for myself. Melt 100g butter in a frying pan. Add 100g caster sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks and 1 tablespoon ground cardemom. Let it bubble and let the sugar caramalize. When the sugar has a nice toffe colour add 3 or 4 peeled, cored and sliced apples (thick slices!), the bottom of the pan should be covered. Let the apple caramalize. It takes about 10 minutes. Get the frying pan of the heat and cover the apples with puff pastry. Place the frying pan in a preheated oven at 180C (fan) for about 20 to 30 minutes. Let the Tarte Tatin cool down in the pan for about 10 minutes. And then get it out by placing a big dish over the pan and turn the pan over. Because we used the wrong apples, it became a sort of applesauce, that why we placed some slices apple over it. Before you eat get the cinnamon sticks out of the tarte tartin. Enjoy! Ingrédients (pour 6 personnes): pour la pâte: 200 g de farine, 80 g de sucre glace, 80 g de beurre, 1 oeuf, 1 gousse de vanille, 40 g de poudre d'amande.Pour la garniture au chocolat: 3 CS de beurre de cacahuètes avec morceaux, 25 carambars, 200 g de chocolat praliné, 25 cl de crème liquide et 100 g de noix. Préparation:

Heat some oil and fry 150g diced bacon until golden. Add 3 onions, sliced in rings and fry this until the onion rings are soft and golden. Then add 1 finely chopped garlic clove and 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves. Just heat it a little. Meanwhile season 250 ml creme fraiche to taste. Put 6 puff pastry sheets on a baking sheet coverd with baking paper. Spread 1/2 the creme fraiche over the puff pastry sheets, leaving a border of 1 cm. Put the bacon onion mixture on top of it and spoon the other half of the creme fraiche on top of it. Put the baking sheet in the preheated oven 200C (fan) for about 20 minutes. Enjoy!

You know how important I think about sun protection. I admit I'm kinda of a sunscreen nazi. Just ask my guy. I always tell him to put on sunscreen on the face and chapstick with SPF on the lips, too. Yep, it's incredibly important to protect your lips.
