Here we got with another update on our trip down to the Northwest-"siiiidde" as Justin Timberlake called it. Just prior to our arrival at the Canada/USA border, we stopped by the Duty Free to pick up some discounted goods (well, actually just my sister and Devante buying creams and other miscellaneous stuff). My first Taco Bell experience at Trinoma was definitely delicious! The newly opened Trinoma Mall also opened its first Taco Bell outlet among Ayala Malls. The 1/2 pound burritos, soft beef taco, cinamon twists and cheese nachos we ordered filled our tummies to satisfaction as the taste was superb and price is reasonable! Large drinks are refillable but we just ordered medium ones as we are on a "diet." Also, try their other Mexican dishes like, enchiladas, fajitas and other variations of tacos and burritos. Taco Bell at the Trinoma Mall, North Avenue, Quezon City, is now open to serve you with authentic American-Mexican dishes.
Taco Bell is offering indie bands free food. It’s called Feed the Beat. You can get up to $500 in Taco Bell Bucks good toward Fourthmeals. Fourthmeals are like your midnight snack that Taco Bell is promoting. So instead of heading to the local Denny’s or bar, you can head to Taco Bell after a show. You’re not required to do anything except apply. But hurry because you have to sign up before August 31, 2007.

The KFC/Taco Bell restaurant in New York City in which video footage caught dozens of rats roaming through the facility, had passed a health inspection just the day before footage revealed the infestation. Check it out:
NEW YORK — The city health department was trying to figure out Sunday why a KFC-Taco Bell restaurant had passed an inspection the day before video footage caught a dozen rats scampering across its floors.
“It doesn’t look like the inspection that was done Thursday met our standards,” said Geoffrey Cowley, a health department spokesman. “I don’t want to prejudge that. We’re concerned and we’re going to carefully revaluate that inspection.”
The fast-food operation, located in Greenwich Village, was shut down by the city on Friday after the video of the rodents was widely broadcast and attracted streams of sidewalk gawkers. It remained closed on Sunday.
